engaged in a kind of psychological warfare with my husband's grandmother where my husband (i do this always through the medium of my husband) will remind her that i did not take his name and am not going to do so and she will claim to have understood this until she 'forgets' again by the next time she has to send us a card. at which point my husband reminds her again. and so it continues.
