ppl in the fandom side of twitter im in were freaking out over a dark fic... calling ppl who read it disgusting... girl it wasn't even that bad
#okay I get being triggered by stuff#then don't read it?#if it was hella gross okay I'd understand#but it was a phantom of the opera au...#i was FULLY expecting some NASTY fic full of horrific stuff#and then the tags were like...#dark AU#psychological horror#mind games#GIRL...#it was the tamest shit I've ever seen on AO3#there's some GENUINELY nasty stuff on there that I could understand being like 'ew?? why would u read that??'#it's also in a series that is ALREADY extremely dark#so...#like the actual series was worse than the fic#i thought it was satire at first but girl they were serious#it was LITERALLY a hurt/comfort#NOT EVEN DEAD DOVE DO NOT EAT#??#'THIS IS ACTUALLY TORTURE PORN!!!'#i assure you it is not
