I still can't get over that, between middle school and coming out (about between 16-26) I couldn't read lesbian love stories because they filled me with a deep, indescribable sadness. Specifically, I had read a yuri about a guy who gets turned into a girl and, after getting the option to change back, decides to stay as a girl and stay with her girlfriends.

I didn't have a whole lot of signs that I was trans when I was younger, but damn that was a big one.
