i've always felt both older and younger than my peers. my parents used to send chaperones whenever I had to leave the house like i was 3, but I also gravitated more towards older men and women in the room at parties. I need to join a hobby class or something to get out more with people my age.
#i can't remember when i stopped being chaperoned (i was probably an older teen) but i remember having to fight walking on my own when#we were literally just a few blocks away from the house. we were with a relative who was also our neighbor#it was a gated community it wasn't like i was gonna get raped in broad daylight
