If I have any overall issue with The Acolyte it's that the culture around it is a bit capital Q "Queer", "this is so important!!!!" which always annoys the fuck out of me because at the end of the day it's a fucking Star Wars show, but even then I can't get too bogged down in that because it practically feels necessary in the face of the criticism and online abuse. It's so staggering. "The gayest Star Wars", review bombing, the most mental accusations of conspiracy, fuck knows what Amandla's dm's look like rn, all because it's made by a lesbian, there are gay actors in it, and two women in a society without men embrace once. And let's not forget how they treated Moses Ingram and John Boyega. And we're the fucking snowflakes 🙄😂 get a grip, fuck.
