so tired of the ozempicification of america its not a "miracle drug for weight loss" it's for diabetics who still struggle with blood glucose maintenance even despite their best efforts. it's a drug a lot of diabetic people need to be able to function. so many people are using it for weight loss it's causing a massive shortage for people who actually need it. and it's not fucking cheap either, even when it's covered by insurance. diet culture has fucked us up so bad. you will not die or be unable to function if you're not skinny. but there are SO many consequences, including fatal ones, for diabetic people who may need it and are suffering the effects of the shortage
