Also, the 'the author said it was more like fanfic adaptation,' isn't an excuse. No one wants a fanfic adaptation of a series they enjoyed. They want a real adaptation that tries its best to stick to the source material.

#who wants fanfic adaptation like--- WHO #sorry I'm just annoyed--- not putting it in the tag though; just venting here lmao #like i enjoy seeing the actors; they fit; but i enjoy it more through edits that splice scenes together better than the show does tbhhhhh #and I'm not rooting against it or anything; but the criticisms pertaining to its writing are pretty fair from what I've seen #it is like the upcoming a/t/l/a show; theres a reason the og creators left after doing the first ep; they didn't want to do an inaccurate #representation of the source material---#I'm cool with the show; I've rewatched and ish; but its disingenuous to act like the majority of the critiques are coming out of left field #is all I'm saying-#especially in relation to main character plot lines
