I'm bored here's my reviews of apple pencil tips
Regular (think the ones your pencil comes with and official Apple replacement ones): Okay, reliable, slippery even on matte protectors, wear down fast, I find I draw harder with these and cause unnecessary wrist strain. I gotta modify my pressure settings for these, specifically
Metal: Don't wear down, usually sensitive, massacres screen protectors so I just buy a ton of cheap ones, ideal if you need to train yourself to draw/write with a lighter hand and will do so due to anxiety of damaging your ipad like I do with these (I use these the most), feel good like nice a ballpoint pen. I find them the best with a matte protector in terms of feel, but definitely not protector longevity
Stronger plastic over metal (usually these are clear): Solid, last a long time, feel the same on regular protectors as original tips but are more rounded and can be moody after you wear down the plastic on matte protectors, not many sellers of these, feel good though, second favorite
Mesh tip caps: last longer than rubber, decent friction, get dirty easily due to wax? layer on them if you take your pencil places, not many sellers
Rubber tip caps: super cheap, just don't last, too grabby for my taste even on glossy regular screen protectors
#I also buy wacom one tips for my s pen (s6 lite) for the more rounded bigger tip I recommend that#it feels WAY better if you don't just have a bigger EMR pen to use on galaxy tabs#Never tried the metal ones for that though#vena vents#not art#Seems most EMR pens with replaceable tips do have the same size and tip format but always double check
