me when music from chile gives me more J.J-Yellow rival arc fuel even if its sad

im forcing yall to read my vent slash rant about why i feel like rhythm heaven consumed me so much that i lost interest(?)

i got into Tronic a lot more lately, and there's this song that makes me tear up a little everytime. Combo Final, ~2003, 'Ke Patine La Risa'

it's the story of Ciro (i believe. Ciro Longa is the drummer of the band) being scared of being out and about, because there is a violent girl looking for him to punch and maybe kill him. it is not clear why exactly, but at the beginning of the song you can hear the instrumental of the song "Kerida" (a song where the singer is apologising to maybe the same woman that he is not in love anymore, being in love with loneliness metaphorically). the pre-chorus says "No es fácil andar escondiendome de tí, si sé que mañana andarás por ahí." (it is not easy to walk and hide away from you, if i know perfectly that you're gonna be there), and the chorus "Nac, nac! Quién toca la puerta? Es Combo Final. No abran la puerta/que ella me quiere matar." (Knock knock, who's knocking on the door? it's Final Combo. do not open the door/because she wants to kill me)

well. remember how i said Yellow knows Soanish perfectly well? and remember how i said that Blue listens to many kinds of music (that includes Cuarteto de Nos, similar to Tronic)? i had this scenario when i listened to the song a few times, where Yellow is simultaneously and maybe against his will listening to Tronic since Cecil recommended Blue to try them out. Yellow didn't pay much attention to the lyrics, in fact he just laughed when they say stuff like "concha/conchetumadre", "mierda", "chucha", "culiar", "weiar", "puta/pucha" and etc. because he knows what those mean but hears them very randomly. although, when Blue played Combo Final, Yellow started to pay more attention. something about the lyrics made him uncomfortable. and when the pre-chorus and chorus played he just. froze

in his mind, past fucking bad experiences with J.J started to replay; many times when he lost physical fights or was too weak since days ago to handle J.J, being an easy target. ignoring the fact the song continues with "Yo sé lo que quieres tú, quieres mi beso final. Amiga, lo siento, pero a mí me gusta tu mamá" (I know what you really want, you want the final kiss from me. Oh dear, I am so sorry, but I actually like your mom), he couldn't shake those torments away

of course nowadays they're... "friends." kind of. but it doesn't take away the fact J.J kicked and punched the shit out of Yellow many years ago. just because

i guess that what made me bored of Watashime Slug and Rhythm Heaven is that i ran out of content to enjoy or to imagine. Tronic and The Three Caballeros have been taking over for a while in my brain, and honestly i feel more comfortable like this but whatever i'm sort of back guys sorry for flopping it'll happen again
