#i cannot possibly exaggerate on how much that single episode changed my opinion on fate adaptations#its been like two years now since i first saw it and im still utterly enraptured#not to be obnoxious but holy shit i wish ufotable could hit that level of raw beauty#it drives me up a wall every time i see someone wish ufotable had animated babylonia or whatever other fate anime instead#ufotable is...consistent?#but none of their fate anime have really connected for me#the animation in apocrypha actively uplifted the story and engaged me in what was otherwise kind of scattershot writing at the end#the ubw anime was otherwise coasting on my knowledge and enjoyment of the vn#i dont want to say i find ufotable's productions to be lacking in passion or art#but idk something about them fails to resonate with me compared to the vice grip this single ep still has on me#era.txt
