no joke, someone on tik tok was trying to say that medusa being r*ped was a greek mythology story, and i corrected them by informing them that it is actually a roman myth because ovid, a roman poet created it. and they go “ metamorphoses actually made it, and he’s a greek poet.” dude, metamorphoses is ovid’s latin poem, metamorphoses isn’t a person, it’s a piece of text that OVID wrote.
