What groups don't you like then?
It's not that I don't like groups. I don't know enough about other groups to dislike them. There are groups whose music I can't get into. But music is diverse and subjective. It's very hard not to like at least one song in a group's discography, even if you're not into that group's music as a whole.
Since I'm a Stay, I'll talk about Stray Kids. SKZ has a very diverse catalog of music. Saying all of their music is bad is just stupid because there's so many different kinds of music they've released. Maybe you don't like songs like God's Menu or Thunderous, but they're always songs like Another Day or Secret Secret or Sunshine or Ex, songs that are different from their most popular songs.
SKZ performed at an awards show and performed Thunderous, Red Lights, Gone Away, and Surfin', four completely different songs, all from the same group, and people will still say that all of SKZ's music sounds the same. It doesn't, and the fact that people say that means they've only listened to certain songs, declared them unlikable, and then decided that that's the only kind of music they make. No group only makes one kind of music. This is especially true for groups that have some creative control of their music. Even more so for the rare group that has complete creative control of their music with barely any company involvement in the way that music is written and produced.
I don't have the time to be into multiple groups. There are people who can and that's good for them. A group has to really intrigue me to interest me enough to get into the group and not just the music. So far, only 2 groups have ever done that in the 6 years I've been listening to kpop. However, there are plenty of songs by multiple groups that I like. There are also groups whose music does not spark anything in me, but I can still find a song or two of that group that I like, because again, no group's music is all the same.
There are also plenty of groups whose music I've never listened to before and groups whose music I will probably never listen to. And it's not because I don't like them, because again, don't know enough to not like them, it's just that there are so many kpop groups and I just don't have time to listen to every single one of them.
All of this boils down to, I can't tell you what groups I don't like because there is no one group I don't like. I could tell you which group's music as a whole I'm not into, but there are still songs from those groups that I do like. The point is, listen to what you want, and if there are groups whose music you don't like, just don't listen to them and move on.
