Okay no way because ive actually had this exact same thought about Ajax picking up the other part in Reunion Square but I'm chiming in as a theater person to say that when you say the audience wouldn't be aware of any of this you're simply not thinking big enough. Like I love what you've got here but I'm here to say we can go farther.
Because there are a bunch of scenes which require people to be onstage but not quite onstage, most notably the DJ but also luther in the interlude. So the set needs a fun little side platform (every set's gotta have at least one) to be the 'dj booth.' And if the DJ booth is already there, and you've already established to the audience that characters in the dj booth are not literally present, then there's no reason not to put Ajax there for that part of Reunion Square. Its fun for whoever's playing Ajax too to actually get to play those lines and lean over the railing like she can somehow stop what's about to happen just by being there with Fox in that moment. And yes it definitely makes that verse hit harder if Ajax is saying it too because so much of it does make sense coming from her as well as Fox, especially the Swan would have beat him but I am no Swan line.
And then Ajax is already in the DJ booth when the DJ comes in to do same train home (and i can see that, too, the moment of silence before she starts to sing and a hand on Ajax's shoulder because this was all a little bit her fault too) so she can join in (i have thoughts about splitting up Same Train Home to give parts of it to Ajax and Fox) and she and Fox get to have a little silent character beat in the dj booth of being together again. And they get to hang out and watch Finale, too, until the Riffs arrive and Cyrus shows up in the booth and takes Fox's hand and nods to Ajax that it's time for her to go because she survived, and they didn't.
one of the big stagey things the Warriors album doesn't have is an act break. i like the idea of putting one being between the tension of Still Breathin' and the energy of Quiet Girls, but we can ramp it up. maybe Cleon's and Masai's argument is intercut with vignettes of other crews (Hurricanes, Rogues, Bizzies, Furies) getting the call to go to war like echoing "What do you do when they kill everything you believe in"
and then start of act ii but before they reach the Hurricanes' platform, maybe Cochise gets a moment to summarize what's happening. this would both give Cochise an actual moment to shine, and fits with her being the only historically minded Warrior, citing Wilma Rudolph later
