I don't think Marazhai is particularly incompetent by any means but I do think the general combination of him being (heavily implied to be) on the younger end alongside being Trueborn does kind of make him get in his own way quite a bit in ways that are honestly unnecessary.

#not trying to [redacted] him but since i am back in the game again+trying to go back in my drafts #trying to get this done but its less he's uniquely stupid in the Yremeryss plot but more that how that whole thing shook out #is kind of a problem inherent to Trueborn and if it wasnt that it would've been something else #he's okay at what he does but also he could be better if the Nepobaby goggles were loosened by 2% (CL: Impossible #by design)#functionally dysfunctional
