the way that if it were Literally Anyone Else that came into the room when Rufus kidnapped Jerome they would have either immediately recognized Rufus or at least been able to tell something was wrong. because mara was out of the loop on all the sibuna shit & still would have been like "okay no you're not his uncle. at the very least not one he wants to leave this house with." even fucking mick would have been put off. but no it was Eddie. who is not only out of the loop but is unfortunately.
