The office where I work is in some system somewhere that means we get automated calls from the school district three cities over, which are usually like “Reminder that Monday is a holiday” or “Parent teacher conferences are this week” Today the call was “A bulletin board caught fire, but the building was evacuated and the fire department responded promptly so everyone is fine”

#not yarn #not babysitting #fire tw #how???? how does just a bulletin board catch fire??#I mean I guess the answer is probably that someone set it on fire #and when I was in high school someone set a trash can on fire #also someone got arrested trying to light the school itself on fire #but that wasn't during school hours and we didn't get robo calls about it!#OH MY GOSH THE TRASHCAN FIRE MIGHT'VE BEEN SET BY THE ARSONIST #I legit went to school with a guy who got arrested for setting a few major fires including the one that almost burnt down my house #and I never put together that he could have been the one to set the trash can fire in ninth grade #is it burnt down or burned down? either way I can't edit the tag now lol #the robocall did say no one was injured
