mind was completely in the clouds , she’d had a million things to do that day and all she wanted was to go home back to bed ---- exhaustion was a perk of being human that she still had to get used to , normally she’d just gulp coffee and it would do the trick but for some reason ---- probably a virus or the flu , it just didn’t want to work . it’s how she didn’t see where she was going and ended up bumping into someone . “ shit ----- i’m so sorry ! ” embarrassment lingering in her tone , cheeks tinted crimson . “ my mind was ---- well it wasn’t here . are you okay ? ”
