Happy 2nd Anniversary for Splatoon 3! People may think Splatoon 2 is superior, and although I am (technically) a Splatoon 1 veteran, Splatoon 3 will always be my favourite. It's what got me invested in Splatoon, it's got me through the best and worst of times, and all in all, it's changed my life for the better. Now we're at Grand Festival, it really doesn't feel like 2 years since the hype began.....

Here's to many more years of splat-tastic fun!

They've certainly been through a lot, both character design and backstory wise !! But I'm happy to see my growth as an artist :>

So I didn't actually have a reference for the yellow inkling, but I'm pretty sure I remember making an inkling like this unnamed one before actually designing Kailani.

Can't say for certain though, so it's just speculation that I'm gonna believe!

Horror is a tall boy always in my mind (even though he’s still only a bit over 5ft)

I didn’t realize Ink had long sleeves, so that is also something to change (sweater paws ahoy!)

I forgot to not do paps’ line art in pen. I think the watercolors will be good to give him that smudged look, but the hard lines prevent that

Nightmare was really interesting to color! I don’t draw that kind of slimy/shiny texture often. Then with Cross, I wanted to mostly use purple shading and have the black more purple-like because of XTale purple theming.
