Something something about Zee, an advanced synthetic assigned to protect you as your ship makes its long voyage back to Earth in a futuristic Alien AU.
Along the way, you realize something's changed as he starts to act a little too human at times, when before he shrugged off your attempts to become friends, your silly jokes and harmless teasing easily swept aside and ignored. The ship lacks luxury and privacy with its cramped quarters and with the rowdy, abrasive crew as the only other options for company, you still find yourself gravitating towards him. The human crew members are cruel to him, ridiculing him for his very existence. Despite his gruff demeanor, he's gone out of his way to make sure you're cared for and as comfortable as one can be on a rickety space in the middle of outer space. The last thing you want is for Zee to think you're as callous as the rest of them are. You appreciate him for what - who - he is.
When his previous annoyance at his prime directive, protecting the most obnoxiously cheerful human he's ever met, fades away into something else, he finds new reasons to stay closer to you than ever before. He lingers on the edge of your peripheral vision, the second shadow that follows your steps - and whether you can see him or not, you know he's there. Never more than a room away, you wonder what it is he's waiting for, or why you shiver with anticipation every time you feel his stare rake over your skin from somewhere nearby.
Forced together and living in close quarters, who knows what might happen before journey's end?

You can't remember where you first heard the rumors, but you knew - or at least suspected - that certain androids could have sex. Your android could, if you weren't mistaken about the shape of his body underneath the form-fitting jumpsuit he wore around the ship. (And when exactly did you start thinking of him as yours?) You've heard that some of the most advanced androids are capable of feeling pain, but are they capable of feeling pleasure too? You're woefully uneducated on this subject, not that you've had much reason to consider the question at all, but thankfully, he's a very patient teacher with a fondness for hands-on learning.
What he tells you, not with words but in smoldering glances and firm but gentle touches as he peels away your clothing, piece by piece, is that pleasure itself is possible. At least, the sorts of pleasure a synthetic being like him can experience. In most circumstances, those mimicked sensations, a trick of wires and circuitry far too difficult to explain, aren't usually enough to entice him to indulge in such messy encounters.
All it takes to change his mind is for someone else to look at you a certain way, or an innocent touch that lingers long enough for him to notice and frown at its meaning. Suddenly, the idea of sex is very appealing if it means tempting you away from anyone else he deems unworthy of your time or attention.
As a synthetic, sex isn't a sensory feast the way it is for humans. The rhythmic movements as he snaps his hips in a slow and deep but unyielding rhythm doesn't tire him out. Instead, he focuses on watching every tiny expression that flits across your face, listening to the soft noises you think he can't hear over the sound of squeaky springs as he moves, and nearly smothering you with his weight into the thin, uncomfortable mattress in your sleeping quarters.
He doesn't know why the single drop of sweat trickling down your face and over your jaw is so enticing - but then again, he's never felt hunger like this before either. Maybe next time he'll be tempted to taste the salty trail, if he's not transfixed watching the pleasure and adoration that brighten your gaze instead.
When you bite your bottom lip between your teeth to try and keep quiet, he runs his thumb across your mouth, ack and forth with a hint of pressure, until it's shiny and wet with spit. With a slick glide, he pushes it inside slowly until he can touch the tip of your tongue. It's a pleasant picture, one he'll think of often long after this day ends. He decides that if he can't hear all your little sounds, then feeling the vibrations as you suck the digit shallowly into your mouth is the next best thing.
Above all else, he doesn't want you to turn your face away, or to close your eyes even as your eyelids flutter and your head tips back against the threadbare pillow. His low voice, rougher than you've ever heard it before, cuts through the warm silence like a knife as his fingers hold your chin in place to keep you still. He can't help but stare at his own reflection, hair wild and expression desperate as any living man, in the shimmery film that glazes over your eyes.
In the dark ocean of space, surrounded by nothing but a sea of stars, watching you fall apart underneath him is the most fascinating thing he's ever seen.

Let Him Win Peter Parker & Stark!Reader (dc/marvel crossover) (2/4)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Words: 3110 Pairing: Peter Parker & Stark!Reader, Batfamily & Reader Featuring: Tony Stark, Peter Parker, Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne (mentioned) Warnings: swearing, discussing criminals Summary: After attending a Wayne Enterprises party, Dick Grayson invited you and Peter Parker to visit Gotham so he could give you a proper tour. You and Peter are interested in learning more about the Justice League, specifically Batman, and take him up on his offer. What kind of antics will they get into? Author’s Note: At the time this was written, I was not nearly as in the Batman fandom as I am now, so there’s definitely some canon problems. But that’s fanfiction ;)
Prev / Next Part
Tony / Peter / DC / Full Masterlist
---
Tony didn't want you going back to Gotham. He knows Gotham is rundown, and he knows how much the Joker would like to get his hands on a Stark. But he knew that you would not give it up; you and Peter really wanted to know more about Gotham and find out as much as possible about Batman and his allies. Besides, Dick Grayson was very confident about being safe; he has to know something.
You had been texting with him back and forth to decide on a day to meet up. Tony didn't like it, but he had to give in. So, to protect yourself, he gave you access to a piece of your suit. It was a watch, much like his newer one, and expanded to be a repulsor for one hand. He would feel a little bit better about you having something to protect you, even if Peter is going to be with you.
"So, this means you finally approve of us going back to Gotham?" You asked, already excited.
"I know you'll never drop it, so just go ahead and do it. But if anything happens, you have to call me," Tony reminded you.
You shrugged and put the watch on. "I'm sure we'll be fine. You know, Batman has a reputation."
"You know I don't like that guy," Tony groaned.
"Yeah, about as much as you like Bruce Wayne," You joked.
Tony rolled his eyes. "Exactly. I had to invite him to the party in a few days, ick," Tony complained, heading to walk out of the room. "Let me know when you leave."
Only a few hours later, Peter and you were getting off one of the Avenger's quinjet to get to Gotham quickly. It wasn't too far away, but far enough that a jet was required. Dick told you two to meet him in the lobby of Wayne Tower, it was a big building and easy to find, and he was going to be there anyway to annoy Bruce. It's a daily thing, as he said.
"Keep an eye out," Peter winked. "Maybe Batman's lurking around here."
"Miss Stark?" You turned around when you heard the deep voice. "To what do I owe the pleasure of having you here?" Bruce Wayne asked as he walked up to you.
You chuckled. "Oh, Dick offered to give us a tour of Gotham and told us to meet him here. He seemed really excited about it," You explained.
"Ah, I see. Be careful, and you let me know if he does anything stupid," Bruce nodded to you and put his hand up to wave when Dick walked over. "You didn't tell me this was going on today."
"Yes, I did," Dick rolled his eyes. "I told you last night that we agreed on today, and you said that was fine. But you were working out, so you probably didn't even hear me," He said. "But don't worry. We'll be careful."
You and Peter looked at each other, amused at their little banter. "I'll keep him in check," You piped up.
Bruce nodded. "Good, I trust you more than I trust Dick," He said.
With a chuckle from you, Dick rolled his eyes and put his hand out to tell Bruce to stop. "Well, we have a big day and lots of things to see, so we'll be going now!" Dick announced.
"Don't stay out too late. And be careful!" Bruce called as the three of you walked to the street. Wayne Tower was in the central part of the city, so the streets around it were busy.
"We'll start by walking a bit. If we have to, I can call Alfred to give us a ride," Dick assured. "But I'll be honest. Gotham isn't that crazy, not like New York, but we have fun. Some good local spots and local villains keep it interesting. You guys want to get a late breakfast?"
After both of you agreed, Peter looked at you with a knowing look, and you shoved his arm. You knew what he was trying to say, he was only proving his point that Dick really only wanted to see you again, but you ignored it. "Yeah, dad said if we see any villains, we have to leave. So let's hope the Joker doesn't know I'm here today!" You joked.
Dick shrugged. "We probably won't run into anyone, especially since we're just doing this during the day," He said and led the two of you down the street. He commented on a few businesses around but led you to where lunch would be. "So, do you guys have anything that interests you about this place?" Dick asked. "Oh, look, it's the police station! Had some good times there with Gordon and Barbara," Dick sighed like he was remembering good times.
Peter looked a little confused but brushed it off. "I don't know, we don't really know much about Gotham," Peter said, "But we are really interested in the hero and villain thing. Tony doesn't like us talking about the Justice League for obvious reasons, but we've always been so intrigued."
Dick smiled wide. "You know, I think I can give you guys the rundown. Living in Gotham, you tend to know a lot about what goes on and who to stay clear of," He said.
"Oh, perfect!" You cheered. "I've done online research, but people don't know much, and it's hard to decipher what's true."
"That's true. Lots of people make stuff up to try to get internet famous or just some random people to believe a bunch of bullshit. My favorite fake news is about Batman and Superman dating—which I can confirm is one-hundred-percent, not true," Dick clarified.
Peter laughed. "That seems like something the internet would do. How are you so sure?"
"Just trust me on this one, I'm sure," He promised and stopped walking to open the door to where lunch would be. "But you guys aren't interested in the fake news, right? Just the real stuff?"
"Oh yeah," You nodded when being shown to your table. "We want to know it all!"
Once the three of you sat at a table and the waitress got your drink order, Dick started to explain. "I mean, the Justice League is pretty secret," He said. "But, being a Gotham citizen, I know more than the average person."
"I'm sure," Peter nodded.
"But, I think in response to my exclusive information, you guys tell me a bit about the Avengers?" Dick smirked.
You shrugged. "Of course, I know the Avengers like the back of my hand," You joked.
"Right," He said. "So I'm sure I know about as much as you with the other Justice League members, but I do know more about The Batman," He said. "He's very hard to see since he blends into the night and moves so swiftly, but I have met him before."
"You have?" Both you and Peter said at the same time.
Dick sighed. "Well, kind of. There was some stuff going on around Wayne Enterprises a few years ago, and he helped out. And I was there late one night, and we crossed paths. It was crazy!" He said. "But everything about Batman is pretty secretive. The Joker is always out to get him, Robin, and Nightwing. There are a few other heroes that run in Batman's circle, but they're not as constant from what I've seen," Dick spewed out.
Not letting Peter or you speak, he continued. "There are also other criminals, but you know how it is; some are bigger than others. And some just disappear after getting beaten once," He shrugged. "They also deal with stuff that isn't take-over-the-world and kill Batman stuff, too, like drug wars and robberies."
You and Peter looked at each other, then looked back. "They've got a lot to deal with," Peter nodded. "Tony's always concerned with why they hide their identities, but I'm just interested in what they deal with!" He laughed.
"Yeah, dad will get really torn up over the Justice League every so often, but I get it. It annoys him, which is even better," You added.
Dick thought for a moment. "Yeah, I'm not too sure why they keep it secret," He said. "Privacy, probably."
"Honestly, it's probably a good thing they do. They handle situations ways my dad and Cap don't agree with all the time. Better to be safe than sorry," You said. The conversation ended abruptly when Dick's phone started ringing loudly.
"Hello?" He answered. "Right now? You know I'm out today. And you're sure it's an emergency?" Dick rolled his eyes. "And Damian can't help you? Fine, see you soon," He sighed and hung up. "So, we have a little bit of a detour," He said, standing up to lead the group again."Our butler, Alfred, is on his way to pick us up. Bruce needs my help urgently, so we have to get back to Wayne Manor, and Bruce said he would get his jet ready for you two," Dick explained. "I'm not quite sure what's wrong, but if Damian can't help, then it's got to be pretty serious."
You shook your head. "No, Bruce doesn't need to let us use his jet. My dad can take care of it, don't worry. It sounds pretty serious, so it's okay!" You insisted. Dick nodded and typed a few works on his phone as the three of you waited outside of the restaurant.
Only a few minutes later, you were getting into a limo and greeting Alfred. Dick tried his best to continue giving the tour as they drove around Gotham back to their house. It was a very rushed version of his tour, but he still provided a few funny stories, and you got a good gist of the town. This just gave you more of a reason to come back.
Once at Wayne Manor, Dick led you to a room to wait in. "Feel free to wait in the library. Uh, the remote for the TV is here, and you can read if you want. Again, I'm so sorry for having to finish our day early. I hope you guys get to come back, and I can treat you to a proper day!" Dick wished them as Bruce walked up behind him.
"Nice to see you both again," He nodded. "Tell your father I said hello, (Y/N)," Bruce finished, and they both turned to walk away, but not before Dick could wave and mouth a goodbye. As they walked down the hall, you could hear a few words. It wasn't loud, but you could still make it out. "You brought them here?" Bruce said quietly, but not quiet enough.
You and Peter looked around the library. "Well, this sucks," You said. "But, I understand."
"Yeah," Peter sighed. "This place is awesome, though," He said. "Kind of antique, but I like it."
"I guess," You shrugged and walked around the library. "You're right on the antique part," You laughed and pointed to a little statue in front of a bookcase. "Wonder who decorated. This clock is broken, too. Not ticking."
"That's weird. Maybe it just needs set to the right time," Peter shrugged and walked over to the clock. Once he pulled out his phone and checked the time, he started moving the hands. "There, maybe it will work now," He said and stepped back to admire his work.
Instead of ticking again, like a regular clock, it started to turn into the wall. "What did you do?" You whisper screamed at Peter when the clock entirely disappeared, and two poles were now in front of them, inside the wall.
"All I did was set it!" Peter whispered back. He peered his head into the wall and looked down. There was a little bit of light far down, but other than that, it was only the poles.
You walked over to the door and peeked out to see if anyone was around that could help you fix it, but no luck. When you turned around, you saw Peter pull something out of his pocket. "Don't tell me you brought your webs," You disapproved.
"I had to; what if something happened?" Peter defended as he strapped it onto his wrist. "Let's investigate," He suggested and held his other hand out. "I'll put a web on the top and lower us down safely. We can always come right back up if we need to," He tried to convince you. "Plus, you have the watch Tony gave you."
Looking out the door one more time, you crossed your arms and walked over to Peter. "Fine, but I swear to-"
"We'll be fine," He reassured and put his arm around you. Once he had ahold of you, he stuck his web hand into the wall and pointed up to stick to the top. His webs were strong, so you weren't worried about falling; you were only worried about what you would find at the bottom of the poles.
Peter began to lower you two down, and it was a silent ride. Near the bottom, you heard voices, but you couldn't understand what they were saying. Once at the bottom, you both moved as slowly as you possibly could and stuck your heads out ever so slightly. It was very dark, but there was a lot of light coming from in front of you, and you concluded they were computers. It looked like a lot of walls stacked together with a chair in front, so whoever was on the other side couldn't see you. You turned your head and saw a dark car with what looked like wings on the side. Turning the other way, you saw workout equipment, and you weren't sure what to make of either of them.
"See, this is where we lose them," A deep voice in front of the computers said.
"Right, I see that. And Damian's stuck in there, hopefully escaping without being seen?" The other man asked.
There was a pause. "Oh, he's escaping. But he left behind a Batarang and needs to get it back before they figure out Batman and Robin are tracking them," The deep voice said.
"Ah, and you want me to go because Nightwing is better than Batman," The other voice said smugly. "Come on, Bruce, admit it. You know it's true."
Your jaw dropped, and a slight gasp came out of your mouth. Peter clamped his hand over your mouth to try to silence it, but it didn't work.
Honestly, it should have hit you earlier. You and Peter are directly under Wayne Manor, and they both mentioned Damian in a matter of seconds. You didn't want to believe it, but the proof was right there.
Bruce Wayne is Batman.
"Someone's here," Bruce said, and they both went quiet. Peter tried to start pulling you two back up, but it was too hard to do without making any noise. A few moments of silence passed, and a Batarang landed directly in front of you and Peter, blinking red.
"Ah!" You screeched and held your hand out, activating your hand repulsor and blowing up the Batarang, which you weren't quite sure what it would do. The repulsor blast left a big dent, and since you and Peter were so close to where you shot, it blew you both off your feet.
Dick peeked around the computers and let out a sigh of relief. He rushed over to you two and held his hand out to help you back up. "Shit, you guys scared the hell out of us!" He said, then his eyes went big with realization. "Wait, how much did you hear?"
"More than we probably should have," You admitted. "So...Nightwing..." You trailed off.
"Shit," He swore again. "Bruce, they know," Dick called. "You were right; I should have been more careful."
Bruce walked around the computers slowly with his arms crossed. "I know I was right. And yet, here we are."
"We're really sorry," You said, and Peter was still silent. "Don't worry; I won't tell anyone."
Bruce scoffed. "Yeah, besides your dad, right?"
"Not even him. I'll pretend I don't even know!" You promised. "I know how my dad can be, and he can be a little irrational, so I won't tell him."
Dick walked closer to you and put his hand on your shoulder. "Look, you're a great kid, but I think we all know Tony Stark will find out. It's not like we can exchange secrets and call it even."
You looked down, feeling guilty that you and Peter found out. Technically, this was all Peter's fault. He touched the clock, he put on his webs, he lowered you down with the webs...wait.
"Actually, there is!" You perked up, causing Peter to start protesting, but you ignored him. "Peter is Spider-Man. He has his web contraption on right now, and that's how we got down here," You spat out, and everyone was speechless. Bruce and Dick both looked at Peter's hand, the hole in the wall with webs, and back at each other.
Bruce stepped forward and held his hand out to shake. "Then I guess we have a deal. You don't tell our secret; we don't tell yours," He said.
"You got it!" You shook his hand gladly. You shook The Batman's hand.
---
Back at home, you and Peter were still trying to process it all while talking to each other.
"We should have seen it, you know," Peter said. "Dick knew way too much about the heroes and villains," He laughed while messing with his web shooters, trying to tweak them ever so slightly to make them work better.
"True," You said as you scrolled through your phone. "But at least we know who to call if we need help on that side," You said. "But I still can't figure it out."
Peter looked up. "Figure what out?"
"Well, it was obvious at the party that Clark Kent knew who Batman is. I wonder how he found out," You elaborated.
With a laugh, Peter shook his head. "What, you think he's also part of the Justice League? Who's next? Oliver Queen?"
You picked up a crumpled piece of paper near you and threw it at him. "No! He's probably just an excellent reporter."
Both of you shut up as soon as there was a knock at your bedroom door. Tony popped his head in quickly to talk. "Sorry your trip got cut short. Anything interesting happen while you were there?"
Exchanging a quick glance with Peter, you both answered at the same time. "Nope!"
