reading Claremont X-Men (finally) and don't get me wrong it's fine and well-written or whatever but all the interesting shit starts at like issue 130 (with the Claremont run starting on issue 94) and half of it is just boring as hell now how do I keep reading

#yael's x men ramblings #this is the first run from the 70s i'm actually reading #i've read stuff before and after but never in that decade #in terms of older comics i've only read 80s runs and fucking. 40s-60s runs (ww and action comics)#never got to the 70s #anyway i know the context is important but where is kitty prydeeeee #i've got 22 fucking issues until her first appearance how do i survive #there are a few interesting things rn like the summers family drama with corsair and the phoenix stuff and lilandra (<3)#but it's just annoying to read because i'm mainly invested in the women and they don't get enough to do imo #or maybe there's no specific spotlight on any character other than charles so it's hard to be invested #anyway i'll try to keep reading #if it gets too annoying i'll zigzag between it and new mutants maybe
