what they showed in the recent showcase didn’t look like this so i’m a bit surprised? the showcase footage looked like a lot of grey. they showed some forested areas but idk none of it reminded me of tow. one thing (among many other things) i love about tow is the colorfulness of the environments. even scylla which is, you know, the cold dead rock area, is pretty. i’m a big fan of bethesda games but i’m wary of starfield because of the dreariness of most of what they showed.

plus there was no humor in the starfield showcase. todd makes jokes in his explanations but what they showed of the game seemed pretty serious. cold. not necessarily a bad thing but again, i got no outer worlds-like vibes from it. maybe that’s just me?

Starfield feels like it's going to be an Outer Worlds rip-off.

#anyway starfield to me looked like.. a bethesda game in space #most of their recent games look the same #which is fine by me. i'm down for fallout 4 in space #but they all look kinda dull like low saturation #imo...#i always play fo4 and skyrim with reshade/enb to jack up the colors #i'm an oblivion fan which was before beth started the descent into grey #oblivion was so good #had colors #and stupid shit!#they made everything green in fallout 3 and that was that #in conclusion i think we can rest easy that starfield will not be todd howard's outer worlds #it will be bethesda game: space edition
