Okay, so, Beatrice lives in the in-between, she's the infinity between 1 an 0 or 19 and 18, she "never casts the dice" and mistakes her means for her end, and plays the endless games, and she's not a person but also the rules and to win they have to be learned and broken and you'll get her heart laid bare, and she's capable of love and can only be seen with love and what was broken can only remember being whole, and certainty is able to kill her, the only way to kill her is in our hands, the solution of epitaph kills her. 1. She wants to die, but she wants to be loved first. 2. Player is able to kill her by closing the game forever.
#that's my beatrice musings over 2 eps and a couple chapters of the third#she's an eternal prisoner and she fears the conclusion but very much craves it I feel#dumayu#umineko no naku koro ni#umineko when they cry#I do not have strong leads to prove how she feels about end so I probably missed the mark but her relationship with process and conclusion#is interesting. Battler is also her favorite chew toy because he allows her to escape out of bounds of yes/no#in arguments rather than present ideas why she's right she just pokes holes in battler's own suggestions and it could very much be a nifty#mask for being unable to prove her existence by herself. battler wrong =/= beatrice right and all that#ะฒััะตะดัะตะต ะธะท ะฟะพะด ะผะพะตะณะพ ะฟะตัะฐ
