Engineering your workflow at your job to only take up 2-3 hours of the the day is a sacred and basically unteachable skill. You just have to be skilled at lying just the right amount and making yourself seem brilliant but also severely limited by factors outside of your control (any other party outside of your company) as needed.

#personal #i learned early on that only suckers actually expend 8 hours of effort at their job a day #Surgeons and the like aside #that shit will burn you out like a comet #and amount of work put in doesn't correlate to things like promotions and raises #Just find out what they want you to do and do like 105% if it #the rest is being likable honestly #lmao today I helped cover a colleague's tasks for the day since he's helped me before and he was sick #and that shit took me 30 mins when I had set aside 3 hours to do the minimum on it until he gets back #this mfer makes it seem like this shit takes 40 hours a week lmaoooo #imo he's flying too close to the sun with his ratio but i am no snitch
