“So... you fell in love with an Uchiha too?” Well that was an abrupt way to start a conversation. She could already hear Tobirama’s chasting voice, scolding her for being so blunt. 

“I’m sorry, that came out bad, didn’t it?” The edo tensei woman apologized quickly, looking flustered as she tried to avoid the Haruno’s gaze.  

The brunette shock her head, tryna get her words in check before she started sputtering out random babble once more. “What I mean is, I just find it amusing. Y’know? That it seems to have happened a lot?”

It wasn’t all that surprising to be frankly honest. The Uchiha had been graced with divine features, something the Senju woman just had to agree despite the times of war. Not to say that the men in other clans weren’t good-looking, but it seemed like the feared clan had that going for them.

“Ahem- you’re Tsuna’s student, aren’t you?” She continued on, giving Sakura a smile. The familiar warm bathed over her at the thought of the sannin, pride gleaming in her eyes. She was happy with the woman she had become, and knew that Hashirama would’ve shared the same sentiment. “I’m glad that we can have someone like you to carry us medical nin’s work. The one hundred healing... boy, that must of been hard to obtain! Just like her Uncle, never wanted to make things easy.” She chuckled softly.

"Ahhhh...." The Senju let out in disappointed acceptance. "Don't worry, Mada and Hashi were taller then me, too." There was a slight ache at the thought of her old friends, but she pushed it back, offering a smile to the younger medic. "I've just been admiring how the villages have changed. It's very exciting." She admitted honestly.

"A lot has happened after the war. Sometimes it feels like I can't keep up!" Kiko laughed softly, eyes shining. "I'm very happy that you're entrusted as a head medic, Sakura. I can't imagine anyone else continuing the legacy."

A pang of guilt washes over her as she realizes how rude her demeanor may have been coming across as, and she clears her throat. While she may not be close to the other medical nin, she did have great admiration for the Senju, and needed to act as such.

"No," she answers, a light blush tinting her cheeks. Both of her teammates had grown rather tall once puberty hit, and while she'd managed to grab a bit of a growth spurt herself, it wasn't near as tall as Naruto and Sasuke's had been, and she stood at an average 5'5. "If I had managed to outgrow them they would have had to shrink!"

"What have you been up to lately, Senju-sama?"

"Oh, it's not biggy." Kiko chuckled softly. It's to be expected after all.

"I remember when the hospital first opened... my, what a busy time." Konoha had been brand new then. Hashirama had entrusted her to be the head medic, a role she had taken on with pride and excitement. She had found the best way to help other; her goal had been achieved. Speaking of goals... "Oh right! I heard Naruto finally become hokage!" The senju beamed, eyes bright. "I'm sure you two make team. Though, honestly, I think I'm gonna miss him going on and on about how he's gonna become the hokage." She laughed.
