no, but having his triends turn to dust was challenging because they were the only family he had left, and they had been the most enduring supportive figures in his life. his life had been marked by death and abandonment, and the loss of his friends was yet another blow. he fell off the rails after not being able to find any explanation for how or why they disappeared, returning to acting in hollywood and falling into the ‘hollywood’ lifestyle harder than ever as a method of coping.

he was just starting to feel like everything was going back to normal before he was transported from his home to whatever timeline he’s in, so now he’s trying to be proactive and get himself started on the right foot in case he’s stuck in this realm for the long haul. 

HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT THE NEW MULTIVERSE? ARE THEY EXCITED TO WORK WITH NEW PEOPLE THEY HAVE NEVER MET BEFORE?

a multiverse with some of his friends where no one else knows him means a second chance. a second chance at a good reputation and a second chance to allow himself to grow in the ways he needs to without outside pressures plaguing him. you can still catch him spinning some sweet tunes at a local party, though. what can he say? some habits die hard.

history

as a child, gar lived in africa with his scientist parents who were developing methods of resurrecting extinct animals from the dead. he contracted a rare illness called sarkutia, which is fatal to every species except for the west african green monkey. to save his life, his father used an untested serum meant for his project; it saved his life, but turned his hair, skin, and eyes green and gave him the ability to shapeshift into any animal of his choice. 

his parents were relatively abusive toward him, but a boating accident claimed their lives when he was a child, something he still blames himself for. gar was abducted by criminals who forced him to use his powers to aid in their theft. after being rescued, he was left in the legal care of an abusive guardian that embezzled his inheritance and planned to kill him before he became a legal adult, but was saved by the doom patrol. he was adopted by elasti-girl and steve dayton and eventually joined the group, taking on the name ‘beast boy.’ the doom patrol became his safe haven and his first real exposure to what a loving, caring family should look like. however, much like his parents, the members of the doom patrol met their untimely demises, leaving him alone once more. 

it was then that gar entered hollywood for the first time, following in the footsteps of elasti-girl, and starred in space trek: 2020, which eventually got cancelled due to lawsuits from star trek and space: 1999. (who’da thought?) after this, he met and joied the teen titans, finding his forever family. he initially took on the moniker ‘changeling’ after his former guardian mocked ‘beast boy’ to the point of ruining it for him. he soon went back to using the name ‘beast boy’ and was with various incarnations of the team, finally graduating to the titans before the snap. without having an explanation for why (some of) his friends disappeared, he presumed them dead and fell into a dark depression.

i don’t want to get too in-depth beyond that in case it conflicts with what other muns have in mind for their titans muses, but i imagine that members of the teen titans/titans are trying to re-form! i’m open to anything, baybee!

personality

gar’s personality is larger than life. his switch is always ‘on’ and loves to be the center of attention, cracking jokes and schmoozing with the best of them. truthfully, he enjoys making friends and building strong bonds, as it was years before he was in a position to do that thanks to his upbringing. he’s pretty flirtatious, sometimes without meaning to be, and will always work to win over whoever’s around him. he’s also pretty irresponsible and childish at times, but he’s trying to grow into a Respectable Young Man(TM)

on the flip side, he also desires to be taken seriously, which can be viewed as contradictory to the joking manner he likes to keep. he also uses his facetious demeanor to overcompensate for the inadequacy he feels within, damage which was caused by the years of abuse he endured as a child. he seeks attention and approval in ways that aren’t always healthy. more than anything, he wants to feel valued and loved. ;~;

once other x-men began to rematerialize, kitty held out hope that professor x would return with them, but he didn’t. his death appears to have been permanent, reopening wounds that had never quite healed the way they were supposed to.

HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT THE NEW MULTIVERSE? ARE THEY EXCITED TO WORK WITH NEW PEOPLE THEY HAVE NEVER MET BEFORE?

kitty became mildly aware of the multiverse after succumbing to the black vortex and becoming a cosmic deity for a spell. returning to her original timeline is her primary goal. though one might assume being on a timeline without mutant suppression concerns would be a welcomed change, all it means to her is that an entire realm of mutants are worse off because of the x-men’s dwindled presence. 

history

kitty pryde is a proud jewish mutant and will gladly remind you of such. her mutant powers began to form at age 13, when headaches overcame her and she couldn’t sleep at night without phasing from her bedroom on the second floor to the basement. after being successfully recruited by charles xavier, storm and colossus, kitty joined the x-men and assumed the identity of sprite. she would go on to form close bonds with storm, wolverine, rachel summers, nightcrawler, magik, and colossus, and befriended a highly intelligent alien resembling a dragon named lockheed, who continues to remain loyal to her. 

she embarked on numerous adventures with the x-men during her teenage years and young adulthood. she was possessed by the ninja ogun, who bestowed a lifetime of martial arts training upon her, turned her into a ninja assassin until wolverine helped thwart ogun’s influence. there was a spell where she couldn’t regain her solidity and gradually began to dissipate, in danger of dissipating completely. after the (presumed) death of her fellow x-men, kitty found herself in britain establishing excalibur with nightcrawler and rachel summers, spending much of the next few years forging adventures with them. after a turn in espionage as a s.h.i.e.l.d. agent, she eventually gave up superhero life and returned to chicago to pursue a college education, but life away from the x-men only lasted so long. after her father died from a sentinel attack on the mutant land of genosha, she returned to xavier’s school with a renewed sense of purpose.

kitty spent the next few years as a teacher and, to save the planet from an enormous bullet launching toward earth, phased herself into it and phased the entire bullet through the planet, seemingly fused to the bullet and presumed dead. however, she remained alive and sailing through the galaxy for several months until the x-men saved her, creating a deep fear of outer space. after the death of charles xavier, she was made headmistress of the newly established jean grey school, established with xavier’s vision for mutant-human harmony in mind. she would eventually leave over philosophical differences and found herself as a member of the guardians of the galaxy, overcoming her fear of space over time and embarking on countless intergalactic crusades. after leaving the guardians, she attempted to leave superhero life behind her once again, but was recruited to lead the x-men once more. just weeks after, she was pulled from her realm to this one. 

personality

above all, kitty is warm and altruistic, always looking to lead by example. she cares deeply about the welfare of other people and will always try her damnedest to protect the civilians affected by her superheroic deeds, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. she is incredibly protective of her students, knowing how difficult it can be attending a school for mutants as she was famously in their shoes before. she’s witty and sarcastic, and can get along with almost anyone.

like everyone, kitty is fallible. she has deeply rooted insecurities (the woes of being an awkward mutant jewish girl), and she is extremely intelligent, but this can be occasionally overshadowed by her impulsive tendencies. she has a strong set of values and tends to have high expectations of those around her, expectations which can occasionally seem impossible to maintain. (because of this, she’s called everyone in her life a jerk at least three times. oops.)

pamela’s still pretty pissed off about dusting in the first place, harboring a lot of pent up anger towards thanos. but, she’s doing her best to adjust properly after everything. she’s gone right back to her old ways of trying to help the green thrive as it had been without her for a period of time.

how do they feel about the new multiverses? are they excited to work with new people they may have never met before? or hesitant?

pamela is torn between being annoyed and not caring at all. she can be a snarky bitch to people she does know, so you can only imagine how she may be with people she doesn’t know. she’ll try to be nice tho i promise

a brief bio;

born with an aversion to sunlight, pamela isley was locked away from the world by her (abusive) father. despite having a prescription for a lotion that would protect her skin, pamela was forbidden from going outside entirely. one day, her mother allowed her to play outside, which ended in her father punching her mother and giving her a black eye. as if nothing had happened, pamela’s mother went outside and began gardening, and then explained to pamela that she liked gardening because the flowers listen to her, and sometimes, if she were very quiet, they would speak back to her. the abuse continued, despite her mother always telling her it was nothing to worry about. every time her father would hit her mother, he would buy her forgiveness with flowers, and the garden would grow -- this is how pamela learned that flowers could manipulate people. however, she also learned about human cruelty when her father murdered her mother in cold blood, and she witnessed the whole thing. he then buried her mother under her own garden before he was ultimately arrested and later sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of domestic violence and murder.

while in college, pamela created designer drugs, dealing pheromone pills in order to study their effects. when the university learned of her activities, she was expelled and put in jail, though she had already used her pills to get the dean under her thumb, so the charges were dropped. after graduating, pamela visited her father in prison for the first time since the murder of her mother. he sat in silence, staring at her, waiting for her to make the first move. after a time, she proceeded to to get out of her seat and kiss him on the lips. by the morning, he was dead, and the toxin used to kill him was untraceable. the dean secured pamela an internship at wayne enterprises straight out of college, and she helped develop pharmaceuticals and cosmetic applications, but she always had greater aspirations.

pamela used her pheromones to get a meeting with bruce wayne, where she pitched a business project that would cut his advertising division by 100% using the pheromones to get the meeting was her proof that wayne enterprises could use pheromones to target clients & modify their behaviour to the company’s benefit. however, wayne refused her pitch because it amounted to brainwashing, and removed free choice. ethically opposed, wayne fired her on the spot and warned her that his company owned any research she had done, so she would not be ale to pitch her idea elsewhere. angry, she ran past security to steal whatever she could of her work. specifically, the plant serum she had made from her knowedge in botanical research, which she alone knew how to make. in the process, she was doused with her own chemicals, which changed her – made her immune to poisons and viruses, and gave her command over all plant life and connecting her inexorably to the green, and gave her control over pheromones. she became an eco-terrorist, using her abilities to strike back at those who struck out at the green.

generally pamela cares more for the green over people, but she does occasionally make exceptions to this

frequently has mood swings. one minute she’s sugar & spice & everything nice, and the next she can be the complete opposite

absolutely will have a garden eventually here, she can’t live somewhere without having a garden tbh

she genuinely thinks very little of humanity but that’s just her being a lil salty

but despite that she has a love for children, which probably stems from the abuse she endured during her own childhood

can be very cold at times, especially if it’s something she decides she doesn’t really care about

always running in heels. literally what are other shoes? flats, sneakers, etc? forget about em. heels only

Yes. 

How are they coping after everything that happened? If they got dusted, how are the adjusting to being back?

If she’s honest, which she wouldn’t be, a selfish part of Raven felt relieved upon the snap. Now that she’s back, it’s the same old- nightmares and steeling herself for whatever chaos is set to happen next. If anything, she appreciates the way some of her teammates have matured in the years she was missing, though the loss of their more innocent aspects is worth mourning. 

How do they feel about the new multiverses? Are they excited to work with new people they may have never met before? Or hesitant?

Raven has always been aware of the multiverse, and believes their new involvement is a mixed bag. On one hand, new people with different experience means they have a better chance, but on the other, it also means the end is getting closer. Additionally, Raven doesn’t trust easily, so this many new people all at once is going to be a Trial.

truthfully, selina doesn’t feel much of anything about being back. not returning five years older was quite the surprise, but, as someone whose youthful beauty helps them get by, you won’t catch her complaining. she didn’t have much time to adjust to her former way of life before being transported to whatever version of earth she’s currently in; she’s taking everything a day at a time, but she’s waiting for the other shoe to drop.

HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT THE NEW MULTIVERSE? ARE THEY EXCITED TO WORK WITH NEW PEOPLE THEY HAVE NEVER MET BEFORE?

ambivalence is what selina feels toward the opportunities ahead of her. who knows if returning home is even an option? as with every other aspect of her life, she knows that she needs to adapt, stake her claim on this timeline and strike at what she needs before others get the same idea. 

history

her parents died when she and her younger sister, magdalene, were small children. in her recollection, life started after she was sent to the thomas and martha wayne home for the boys and girls of gotham upon being legally deemed an orphan. though she was placed with various foster families, she would continuously escape and return to the orphanage, as it was the only safe haven she knew during her upbringing.

she ran the streets of gotham’s east end all the while, perhaps associating with people who didn’t have her best interest in mind. through them, she’s introduced to the world of thievery, and eventually started donning a catsuit to keep her identity safe during heists. she soon gets a taste for burglary and begins to do it in more of a robin-hood way than as an actual thief. this is how she runs into batman. after a small confrontation, selina was inspired to stay in her costume and become catwoman, getting the idea that if there is a bat, there can also be a cat. 

personality

selina kyle is a self-made success, and she won’t give you the opportunity to think othterwise. she’s not a deliberate killer and isn’t inherently evil; if occasionally doing some bad deeds happens to be in her best interest then she’ll do it, though her "shades of gray" mentality is much closer to white than black. selina also an adrenaline junkie; she lives for the thrill of the heist. the fact that she can sell the items she steals and make a nice profit doesn’t hurt, but it’s secondary to that adrenaline rush. this also means that she has streaks of unpredictability--she stays one step ahead, as survival is her main goal.

nope, and the self-loathing swiftly compounded!

he’s just shocked that he survived the experience. he has yet to fully let his guard down, which is fitting since another threat appears to be on the horizon. wielding the infinity gauntlet and snapping his fingers charred his right arm, which remains an area of concern for him. he’s made adjustments to his armor, adding even more strength to overcompensate for his bum limb, but... well, maybe this is karma for making all of those jokes about bucky’s arm. perhaps. who knows.

HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT THE NEW MULTIVERSE? ARE THEY EXCITED TO WORK WITH NEW PEOPLE THEY HAVE NEVER MET BEFORE?

first of all, these new “allies” are a logistical nightmare. he signed up to be the parent of one (1) child, not the legal guardian of 40+ interdimensional super-groupies. he spends most of his day in meetings with different arenas of the united states government (his least favorite people on the planet) giving status updates and reassuring them that these newbies pose no threat to the well-being of humanity, though a) he can’t guarantee that, and b) he’s saved humanity several times now; you’d think they’d actually take his word for it. 

and sure, working with the newbies will be fine. he’s notorious for not playing well with others, so he’ll surely ruffle some feathers along the way, but whatever. tony’s house, tony’s rules.

HISTORY

tony’s story is well-known. genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist who had a change of heart upon undergoing a literal change of heart.

with his snap, the avengers succeeded--they resurrected their friends and eviscerated the evil that had wreaked havoc for five years. but tony has yet to feel like he’s earned the right to feel victorious, despite his large role in saving the universe and bringing the dusted back to life. he created his own infinity gauntlet with every intention of giving his life to save the universe, so the fact that he survived the experience is probably his... 32nd “second chance” at living a better life. 

though he jokes about being owed a large debt by society, he was truly just happy to be alive, until a group of interdimensional superheroes appeared outside of avengers tower and an unknown force started tampering with his dreams. (not that he needed any help in the matter; sleeping already came difficultly to him from all of the trauma he had endured over his span as iron man.)  he had planned on retiring, and still holds that mentality when asked about the looming threat. but as much as he would like to relax on a beach in cape cod, he knows that this is truly where he needs to be, for better or worse.

PERSONALITY

tony’s a dick. straight-up.

he knows this and, really, has embraced the notion, though he’s gotten less surly as he’s gotten older and become a father. unfortunately, some stark traits die significantly harder than others. he’s sarcastic, biting, and can be downright careless when he doesn’t feel directly invested in a situation. he also cares about facts more than feelings, which is incredibly off-putting to those more warmhearted than him. but he also cares a lot, in his own weird tony stark way. he’s become much more open-minded and tender as the years have gone on, feeling a personal responsibility to the planet (and universe, by default) as well as its inhabitants. he wants to help and teach as much as he can, because there’s no guarantee how much longer he has left to keep the planet safe.
