Hiya, I've been looking around all day on Tumblr today. I've hit a state of wanting to reorganize our SP just enough to look cohesive but still allow alters to be creative with their profiles. We all absolutely love the movie Treasure Planet. Would there be a chance you could do a simple SP folder layout, dividers, and anything else you would want to add? If you can't do just Treasure Planet we are more than happy to accept space-themed items!
Thank you and we hope you take care of yourself, drink water, take meds, and focus on yourself as you need to <3 /p
I'm sorry this took a bit! but I hope this fits what you wanted :]
I ended up doing a space theme as I wasn't sure how to do a treasure planet theme admittedly
Feel free to recolor parts of this if wanted & I'm sorry for the lack of showcase of the dividers , I just wasn't sure how to do that. Also be warned this was not designed for pretty organization since I was not sure if that was wanted at all

Old Music Sheets
I slightly hope that every owner of a damn webpage and every retard who even attempts to sell sheets (mainly PDF versions) for the classical music that is in fact a PUBLIC DOMAIN gets his/hers pinky toe slowly broken over and over for that crap.
Those people aren’t helping anything or anyone. They are simply abusing everyone who wants to at least study the piece if not play it. Especially if such webpages or people sell you a PDF which basically means they can resell it indefinitely many times. Their websites mostly even appear in e.g. Google search above the ones who offer public domain stuff gratis and don’t expect anything from you. It’s fucking disgusting.
Nowadays you are called pirate even because you listen to a full album someone else shared on YouTube, but you know what? If that is piracy, then I would really like to know what do you call reselling public domain stuff to unsuspecting people.
Reselling public domain stuff (mainly electronic versions) is equal to reselling 1L of air to a child who just needs to breathe. Since that public material actually belonged to someone a long time ago, it’s even worse. You’re reselling 1L of air that belonged to the child’s grandpa to the child. That’s highly depraved and sad.
If any owner or seller of these materials reads this: You are the cancer of the musical world, a dirt on feet of people who love music. You are a rotten piece of crap killing musical taste and imagination in everyone who at least slightly shows an interest. Please, kindly fuck yourself with a rusty fire pit poker until you drag your entrails on the floor and please do continue further. ♥
For anyone who still struggles with finding some public domain pieces: Give a visit to International Music Score Library Project by Petrucci. If you don’t find your piece there, google it properly. Don’t support those webpages and people. Don’t support thievery. Your piece is just one search result page away.

New foot who dis? Couldn’t record today, but here’s some audio from when I flapped my hands at the Beinecke in 2019.
This evening was sponsored by IMSLP. As always, follow along at home:

Okay, so a lot of people have been reblogging my old version of my waltz, but I’ve actually completed it since then (like 2 or 3 months ago oops).
PDF for the score is below:

Project 2: Piano Sonata No 21 in C, by Joseph Haydn, 1st Movement
https://open.spotify.com/track/6rLhG2Cz58k3UyWbbLRE8A?si=w-daCCPpRa6kiEsnqHdwXQ
It was difficult to establish the beat of the piece at first, as I kept hearing it as if the second quaver of the first full bar was the start of a new downbeat. The beat only became clear at bar 11, with the phrase in the left-hand ending on a strong downbeat at the start of the bar.
The music seems light-hearted and playful in character, jaunty even. This is largely sustained throughout, though the mood changes somewhat for brief moments, such as when it becomes more minor-key sounding at the eigth bar of the second page.
There is a mixture of both high and low notes used, as the melody spans different registers, although it never ventures towards the farthest ranges of the piano (either high or low).
As it’s performed here, the piece is relatively brisk without being too fast or hurried. This seems in keeping with its tempo marking: Allegro [moderato].
The use of chords is sparing and seems to be mainly for emphasis. One notable example of this is in the last bar on the third page, where seven-note chords occur with a fortissimo dynamic marking. Otherwise, both the left and right hands play largely one note at a time.
This is not the kind of music I would usually seek out! But it was enjoyable to follow along with the score whilst listening to it. Even though I did not find it particularly moving (not that all music has to be!), I could appreciate the craft that was involved in its composition.
A note about the performer: This version is performed by Markus Becker, a German pianist whose achievements include being “the three-time winner of the Echo-Klassik award as well as the German Critics’ Choice Award and the Editor´s Choice award in the British trade journal Gramophone”, as well as having played with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the BBC Welsh Orchestra.

7th PV Meeting - A Change in Idea?? 24.06.19
Depending on the theme of the show, story comes first >> Repertoire >> the flow of everything else
All the pieces have been categorised into the respective theme: 9 circle of hell and the 7 deadly sins
Found a 4 hands version of Verdi’s Dies Irae on IMSLP approx 8mins duration.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNE8-wlGlmI
Found a 4 hands version of Mozart’s Dies Irae
http://hz.imslp.info/files/imglnks/usimg/c/c2/IMSLP13605-Mozart-Czerny_Requiem_piano_4_hands.pdf
Possible pieces to be part of the program
Confirmed Collaboration: Percussionist (for Liebertango) - I/c Diana (Contacted 2 possible percussionist) Composer (Avengers Medley) - I/c Wynn Artist (concert artwork) - I/c Wynn
A possible change in program concept
Due to some pieces not fitting to the theme, and short-handed of performers to take suggested repertoire suitable for the theme in Dante’s Inferno, the ex-comms discussed and found an alternative approach from an allegorization of Dante’s Inferno point of view. Similar to the “inspired by” adaptions. New Idea Orpheus and Eurydice Journey to the Underworld Reorganize the repertoire for this theme and using the repertoires that were already in the spreadsheet and create a storyline.
Improvisation contest -- Who is going to take the underworld journey? Have to ask Ms. Belinda about her idea for improvisation contest Alex and Kaide >> performer for improvisation contest
Official poster for Dante’s Inferno has been send out to Mr Frank for approval..
