omg hi! im here for the match-up, it seems so interesting!
my social-name is nish (she/her), I'm an enf/tj (I tend to take care of both of them <3), I can be quite reserved on first or one on one meet, so even though I might seem like an extrovert, i think I'm more of an ambivert. I like classy fashion but I don't like to leave my house a lot :/ but when I do, it's all ✨fun✨ I have a tendency to come off as "perfect" student/girl, but it's mostly because of my wanting to be over-achieving tendencies. my friends tell me that I'm sweet and one of the most level-headed person they have met. I tend to act silly in front of my friends. Oh, I also have procrastination tendicies, but i can be the most disciplined person when I want to be (it's hard there days 🥲) my hobbies are - writing/poetry/reading (literature stuff), graphic designing, sports. In KnB, I like GOM members and Captains the most! Thanks <3

Colleagues to Lovers
How You Two Met
The two of you had been hired as interns at the same company, chosen for your academic prowess, though placed in different departments. Midorima probably wouldn't have even met you if it weren't for the fact the company insisted on playing ice-breakers for their interns first day.
By the time the partner rotation had allowed the two of you to come together, he was already feeling fed up. Meeting new people was always so taxing. You were feeling much of the same way, your own social battery having run dry.
To be frank, your first impressions of each other likely weren't good. He seemed stoic and unfriendly to you; you seemed quiet and disinterested to him. You two simply act professionally around each other. It likely isn't until the two of you have orbited around each other's spaces more that he starts to warm up to you.
Midorima looked around the packed break room, lunch in hand and a scowl on his face. There weren't very many seats left, his colleagues and peers already filling up most of the spaces. He could always eat in his car, but he likely wouldn't finish by break's end.
Salvation came in the form of a wave of the hand and a call of his name. You were sitting alone at a table, one other seat left open next to you. Despite the cold beginning that was the start of knowing Midorima, you still wanted to treat him kindly.
He took the seat beside you without hesitation, nodding in greeting. "I appreciate the gesture." Wanting to return your kindness by being at least a bit more friendly, he added, "Let's have a good lunch together." That phrase became the one he would always say to you every single day you invited him to sit with you for lunch.
How He Fell For You
He had thought, at first, that he simply had a greater appreciation for your more level-headedness. There weren't very many people in his life that were as reasonable as you. He approved of your hard work and dedication and saw you as a dependable person. When that admiration for your personality turned into infatuation however, he couldn't quite pinpoint.
For Midorima, it happened slowly over time. He progressively started thinking about you more often. You were the first person to come to mind when he required assistance with a job. You were the first person he thought of to invite if social events mandated plus ones. You were always the first to be on the forefront of his mind.
Though, he actually needed a little more of a push from friends to realize he was actually in love.
He was glaring. Midorima knew he was glaring. It wasn't the appropriate thing to do in a social setting full of work colleagues, but he couldn't help himself. Not when you were across the room being chatted up by another man, looking bright eyed and laughing.
"Don't look so hostile, Midorima," one of his peers would say, elbowing the green haired man in jest. "It's not like the two of you are dating."
And that was it. That was the moment Midorima would realize what it was he wanted with you. Because he wouldn't be feeling this way — so angry and pathetic — if you were with him. He wanted more than just pleasant work conversations and the occasional coffee. He wanted to be the person you showed your more mirthful side to. Later that night, he would pull you to the side, confessing his feelings and wondering if you saw him as more than just a colleague as well.
What a Relationship with Him is Like
Midorima can get pretty deep into his work routines most of the time, so having a girlfriend like you definitely helps to remind him to live a little and have fun. While he may verbally complain every so often, he really does enjoy going out with you for your nights out of the house. Likewise, he's a great help to you during those moments where you seem to be procrastinating more than you should, always keeping you on track. You two balance each other out.
He has a bit of a tendency to spoil you where he can, so expect him to try and fill your closet with fashion to your tastes (and your lucky items of the day).
While he does appreciate that you're the more extroverted out of the pair of you, his favorite times to spend with you are when you're home together. He's a big fan of "astronaut time"; in other words, he feels perfectly at home being in your presence while doing individual things like reading or watching television. It's the proximity to you that he craves.
Midorima looks up from the pages of his book to find you sitting across from him, your own eyes glued to the screen of your laptop while you typed away. He stares for a few seconds before shifting, lifting an arm up so it's on the headrest of the couch. "Nish?"
You don't need to ask to know what his silent request is. Without looking up at him, you shift yourself to settle between the space of his arm and his body. Midorima lowers his arm so it's wrapped around your shoulder, close to you but out of the way of your own tasks.
As he goes back to reading the book still held in his other hand, a small smile graces his lips. He presses it to the crown of your head, knowing without looking that you were smiling as well.

Childhood Friends to Lovers
How You Two Met
You've known Sakurai from a young age. He'd always been the more quiet and reserved type, so it was often that you had to be the one taking initiative out of the two of you. As younger children, you were often the instigator, the one calling the shots, the one making the plans. It honestly took a lot out of you.
It wasn't until Sakurai decided to join basketball did he start to gain a little bit more of an opinion on what the two of you should do together. The friendship seemed to balance out even more after he joined a sport.
And it was like meeting someone new all over again. He was still the same Sakurai, but the changes about him were different and exciting.
"Hey, Nin?" Sakurai's interruption caught you off guard.
You had been going over with him your proposed plans for the weekend, knowing he had basketball practice to attend. You had wanted to include him in any way possible, carving out time to spend with him after he was done, but the way he was looking at you told you he had other thoughts in mind.
"Sorry, would you just want to go with me?" he asks, a certain hopeful look in his eyes. "I'm sure the coach wouldn't mind if you sat on the side. I want to spend more time with you, too."
How He Fell For You
Sakurai knows that being the one to take the lead, make sure he was included, and overall take care of him was a lot for you. He knows you would have rather been doing your own thing (at least, that's what he's believed all this time). So he really appreciated you helping him come out of his shell as the two of you aged.
Somewhere along the years, that appreciation turned into infatuation.
It took him a lot of courage, a lot of push from his teammates and friends, to work up the courage to confess to you. And when he did, he surprised you with the confidence he seemed to show.
"Please let me take care of you from now on!" He was bowing, bent at the waist and face toward the ground. You couldn't see his expression, but you were sure that if Sakurai had just looked up at you, he would be blushing red.
After a moment, realizing his outburst, he straightened up and said, "I'm sorry, I just... You've been taking care of me our whole lives, Nin. It's my turn. Please."
He was tense. God was he tense. But the second you began smiling at him, accepting his offer and by proxy his confession, all that tension seemed to melt away. His own relieved smile graced his face. He tried to ignore the excited cheers and squeals of his friends close behind him.
What a Relationship with Him is Like
Sakurai can be an attentive and understanding partner, so he doesn't mind at all that you don't ask for help often because he seems to already know when you need it. He's not going to just jump straight into helping you however, and will always ask if he can first.
One of his favorite things to do for you is actually to cook and we already know he's pretty good at it. Whenever the two of you have gone out to a restaurant, he'll always ask your opinion on the food and then try to make a better version for you. He might get a little pouty if you say you like the restaurant's version better though, so watch out!
Overall, a relationship with Sakurai is a sweet one full of balance. You both bring out the best in each other and temper each other's worsts.
"What do you mean the cafe did it better?" There was a pout on Sakurai's lips as he gave you a half glare. The little baked confectionary he had tried to mimic was left half eaten on the plate. Before you could take another bite, he pulled it away. "No, you said it didn't taste right. I have to try again, Nin."
"Ryo, really, I was teasing!" you exclaimed, laughing as you tried to snatch the treat back, but he was holding it out of reach.
The pout on his face deepened for a second before melting away. Sakurai sighed. "Don't be so bratty or I won't bake for you anymore," he tutted. Both of you knew that was definitely a lie.

Bullying Acquaintance to Lovers
How You Two Met
Hanamiya had always had a knack for trying to get under everyone's skin. This behavior didn't stop when he left the court and it often extended to his time during school as well, where he would try to pick apart the values and personalities of his classmates. You were no exception.
From the moment you had joined Kirisaki Daiichi, Hanamiya had been a metaphorical thorn in your side. It had started off with shallow insults when the two of you had been paired for a project. Despite his own genius, he'd left most of the work to you.
At least he had acknowledged that you had enough wits to earn the both of you a decent grade.
Hanamiya was looking over the shared report, scrutinizing ever crossed t and dotted i. By the time he was at the end of the page, his brow had cocked upward, impressed. "Glad I won't have to carry you through this class after all," he huffed out, glancing toward you from behind the paper. You could already see a curling smirk making its way to his face.
It made your own eye twitch in annoyance. "I'm not stupid, Hanamiya."
"What?" he asked, elongating the syllable and pinching his brows together in mock offense. "I never said you were, Veux. You've got my words all twisted. Let's work together on this project, hmm?"
How He Fell For You
Due to the close proximity your project had you in with Hanamiya, he found himself in your orbit much more than any of his other classmates. It was through getting to know you more than he realized the both of you had some similar interests — namely, reading. And though he didn't share in any of your other hobbies, he couldn't deny that they required a certain set of skill you apparently had.
The teasing toned down, though it never fully went away, the longer he got to know you. Snide insults turned into teasing comments. Apathetic glances turned into curled smirks. It was one thing for Hanamiya to believe someone to be beneath him, it was another for him to actually put the energy into someone.
Soon enough, people were questioning whether the Hanamiya Makoto had actually gone soft.
"I'll meet you outside the culinary classroom after school, since that's your last class, right?" The fact that Hanamiya had remembered your schedule didn't get passed you as you nodded — so he had been paying attention — though his newfound attention to detail didn't mean he didn't let his usual snide comments go. "Make yourself a bit more useful and make some snacks for our study session, okay?"
He walked away from you after nearly flicking at your nose, his laughter only getting slightly louder when you flinched away before he could get you. As he left your side, one of his teammates in tow, he heard them say, "You're getting rather friendly with Veux nowadays, aren't you?"
Before you could hear his teammate's own teasing remark, Hanamiya snapped back. "Shut up!" But the light tint of color on his cheeks gave him away.
What a Relationship with Him is Like
The teasing never really does go away, but it takes on a more snarky tone than bullying nowadays. Hanamiya is very much the type of boyfriend to have the attitude of "the only person who can bully them is me", as he tends to mouth off to anyone else that so much as looks at your funny. This behavior extends to even his own teammates.
When he's not being a menace in the relationship, Hanamiya actually does enjoy going out with you to art museums or book stores. He'll often strike up intellectual conversations about the things the two of you view and read together, finding it interesting to get your opinion on things since they often differ from his own.
Being in a relationship with Hanamiya requires some pretty thick skin, because it takes a long time to break down the walls he's built to keep people out. But once they're gone, he's an aggravatingly loyal partner.
"Here." Hanamiya huffed out, dropping a plastic bag onto the table in front of you. He covered your textbook and papers with the contents, varying snacks spilling out of the bag. Before you could thank him for the treats, he quipped, "Don't say anything about it," as a flush of color dusted his cheeks.
Before he could sit down, Hanamiya snatched up the bar of chocolate that had fallen from the bag. You watched him as he sat across from you, tearing it open before taking a bite straight from the bar. When he caught you staring, he quirked a brow.
"What? You want some?" His expression shifted to something more teasing and that familiar smirk made it's way to his face. He took another bite, holding a piece of chocolate between his teeth. "Well, come and get it then, Veux."

i just want to say that i literally love LOVE your blog, thank-you so much for writing for us! <3
for the match up : -
name - cherry
likes - food (italian the most!), art, sports
dislikes - seafood, bugs and i have a bit of trypophobia so dots!
i am someone who likes to try out many things, i can be quite ambiverted though my mbti is entj- but i promise that i'm quite sweet to my friends <3 i have a habit of rambling on sometimes but i can be quite a good listener at times too! i like reading fantasy, thriller and self-help/guidance books and i also prefer to draw/write/play videogames in my free time. i am someone who actually liked going to school (usually), just because it felt more productive to me- as i do have a tendency for procrastination. it's hard for me to get addicted to things, but when i do- i hyper fixate on it until i somehow lose interest in them after sometime (the unfinished drafts are side-eyeing me lol). i asked a few of my friends about my first impression, and they told me that i came off as a sophisticated and polite girl with bookish smarts; their present impression of me is snarky/funny, kind, strong and very guarded (even for them). for some reason i am usually the first friend who people tell their difficulties to even if they might not share all their secrets to me (so i believe that i'm a good advisor on that front)
i try to be nice when i meet people for the first time (but i won't hesitate to be rude if they are)
currently- i am wishing to be more consistent with my work, and join a few sports such as basketball and golf and also manage my time more appropriately.
thanks and have a nice day! <3

Acquaintances to Lovers
How You Two Met
Himuro had known you through school and, like most people upon first meeting you, thought you were just another studious girl who kept mostly to herself. His social circle didn't bleed over into yours very often, so the two of you rarely interacted.
On the flip side, you also had the impression of him that he was another good looking guy who didn't give girls the time of day. He was smart and calm, also keeping to himself usually if he wasn't with his teammates.
It wasn't until you caught him outside one day, practicing on his own, looking rather frustrated and completely out of character, that the two of you got to know each other better.
The loud curse that had come from Himuro as he missed a shot startled you. You stared at him for a while, watching as he panted heavily, his eyes trained on the way the basketball rolled away from him. As if feeling your eyes boring into his back, he turned to glance in your direction. Having not expected anyone to be outside at this hour, he looked almost surprised to find you.
"Cherry," he greeted. Then, realizing you'd likely witnessed his outburst, Himuro glanced away to break your gaze. "Sorry, I didn't think anyone would be out here right now. I'm just a bit tired and fed up, I'll try to keep it down."
"No, I..." You trailed off, recognzing the frustration in his tone. It wasn't par for the Himuro you slightly knew and you wondered if there was anything you could do to help. "I, uh... I have some time. Did you want to maybe talk about it?"
How He Fell For You
He hadn't taken you up on the offer the first time you told him you'd lend a listening ear, but that didn't stop you from trying every time you caught Himuro acting just a bit out of character. Eventually, he did accept your offer and you found out that the poker-faced, stoic man who ever girl fell for was just a facade for the passionate and hardworking man underneath.
Similarly, Himuro learned that you were more than just the bookworm he had pegged you to be. He appreciated your helpful nature, but he loved your snark even more. It made him feel more normal that there were other people out there who had more to them than their initial perceived attitudes.
You'd think, with how often he was confessed to, Himuro would know how to do the confessing himself. However...
You'd found him outside again, looking contemplative. He was seated on a bench, fingers threaded together while his hands lay in his lap. His thumbs were fidgeting and his eyes were fixated on the movement, lost in thought. When you called out his name, he once again seemed surprised to find you there.
"I was just thinking..." he responded when you'd asked him what was wrong. After a moment, he added, "...about how to confess to someone."
His words caught you off guard and, seeing the surprise on your face for once, Himuro thought maybe you had gotten the wrong impression. He raised a hand to stop you from asking anymore questions, quickly adding. "I don't like anyone!" Then, realizing his mistake, he reiterated again. "I mean, I don't like anyone else." He was messing this up. He knew it. So he finally swallowed his pride and said, "I like you."
What a Relationship with Him is Like
A relationship with Himuro can be easy or hard depending on whether or not you're a jealous person. He still gets a lot of confessions from other girls, despite the fact he's gone public with his relationship with you. Of course, he never does anything to cause your jealousy; in fact, he always seems to come away from confessions a little angrier than he was before.
In spite of that, Himuro doesn't let others' outside perspectives change how he treats you in the relationship. He's the type of boyfriend who will try to help you better yourself, because you've done the same for him. Most of the time, that involves helping you with your procrastination tendencies.
It's one of the few times Himuro actually gets snarky with you right back.
"And just how long have you been on your handheld, Cherry?"
You look up at him over the screen of your game, finding Himuro staring down at you with a single brow quirked and his arms folded over his chest. Despite the disappointment in his tone, you can see the small quirk of an amused smile on his face. When you answer, asking him for just five more minutes, he clicks his tongue.
"Funny, didn't know there was an echo chamber in here. I could've sworn you asked for five more minutes an hour ago," he teases. Before you can respond, he tries to grab the controller from you, making you both laugh. "Come on, Cherry, you said you'd help me with the chores today!"

I'd love to be a part of the match-ups, they're so much fun! Sorry if this comes out as very long, and happy valentine's day! 💕
I'm an INFP. When in a group of strangers, I tend to act more extroverted to hide how nervous I really am and it works because when I tell them the truth later they're always shocked that I was nervous! I'm actually very introverted and the type of person who once you give me time to come out of my shell, I will be my true self, which is much more talkative, bubbly mixed with some sarcasm, and (if the person I'm with is fine with it) touchy as I LOVE giving and receiving hugs. I'm quiet but not timid just fyi as I've been known to be pretty brave when needed (ex: I have no problem telling someone I have a crush on them despite my face being red lol) I don't hold grudges, loyal af, and I'm an open book, if you ask me something, no matter how random, I'll answer it. People can talk to me about anything, nothing is too personal with me! My friends tell me they admire my honesty, empathy, and how caring I am to those around me but balance things out by not letting people push me around.
Likes: naps, dark chocolate, music
Dislikes: High heights, thunder/lightning storms, being ignored on purpose
Hobbies: playing video games, going on night walks, and drawing
I adore the GOM, Uncrowned Kings, and Captains
For the match up I just submitted, I forgot to add that aside from the guys I mentioned I also adore kagami and himuro as well! So I also realized I forgot to add my nickname, gender, and pronouns... It's Moon, female she/her.

Friends to Lovers
How You Two Met
The two of you had met through mutual friends and an easy friendship, in his opinion, was born right away. You were easy to talk to, always responded to him in kind, and didn't write him off as too hyperactive to interact with. Hayama had always been so high energy and upon first meeting him, you matched that well.
He was a bit of a show off the first day you met him, showing you tricks on his skateboard and wanting you to watch every one of them. If we're being honest, perhaps Hayama had a crush on you from the moment he met you, because he always seemed to be vying for your attention.
By the end of the day, he was declaring you a best friend.
"Moon, hold on!" Hayama ran up to you before you could leave the park. In his hand, he held his cellphone, waving it around for you to see. "Let's exchange numbers! I want to hang out with you again."
By the time he reached your side, Hayama was practically shoving his cellphone into your hands, asking you to input your contact details, your social media, anything that would allow him to meet up with you once more. There was a bright smile on his face, sharp toothed and innocent. It dropped momentarily when he made a realization.
"Wait, no, it's more appropriate for me to give you my number, isn't it?" The dropped smile didn't last long on his face as he began grinning once more, asking, "Gimme your phone so I can give you my number?"
How He Fell For You
He had fallen for you more outgoing and extroverted personality at first, thinking that it was the real you. He was definitely thrown for a loop when you confessed that you had been a nervous wreck the entire time, but that didn't stop Hayama from falling for you further.
He admired your bravery to put yourself out there despite your true feelings on social situations. It may have instilled a little bit of a protective nature in him around you, wanting to keep you from getting too overwhelmed.
This protection actually extended to even himself, and he worried at first that confessing to you wouldn't be the right move. It's a good thing you had other plans.
He was staring at you, wide eyed and shocked. The slight tan of his skin was beginning to turn a darker shade, a little redder, with his surprise. For once, Hayama had not much to say as his mouth fell agape at your words. When a full minute had passed, and you began to look worried, he finally choked out, "Can you say that again?"
"I like you, Hayama," you repeated, hoping your confession would reach him the second time around.
But his brows furrowed. "Are you sure? I'm not too... too much?" But at your insistence and the reassuring smile on your face, Hayama's own expression broke out into his usual grin. He almost looked relieved. "I like you a lot, too, Moon."
What a Relationship with Him is Like
Hayama's the type of boyfriend to take your willingness to talk about anything and everything seriously. He loves asking you questions, picking your brain and random subjects, and ranting to you about conspiracy theories. Often, the two of you will be up until the late hours of the night discussing the same topic for hours. It definitely helps that he loves hearing the way you talk.
Hayama loves that you're a rather touchy partner because he is as well, often coming up behind you to wrap his arms around your shoulders or hold you close by the waist. There's almost never a time where he isn't touching you, always wanting to feel close.
And on those days where his energy just seems to be lower than normal, when he needs a quiet get away and a bit of a recharge, he knows he can count on you to be there for him.
With his head on your lap and your hands threading through his hair, Hayama gave off a long, tired groan. He had been working extra hard at practice, spending long hours on the court that left his body exhausted.
"Can we stay like this forever?" he asked, reaching up to stretch his arms around whatever part of you he could reach. It had you laughing, telling him that eventually he'd have to get up and go home, for daylight would only last so long and the night would be there soon.
"Naw, I have a better idea," Hayama said, grinning up at you. "Hey Moon, tell me again about that band you like," he requested, knowing once he got you going, the two of you would be laying together talking for hours.

Hello and thank you for this sweet event on Valentine's Day! 💝
I'm Vesper, I'm a girl, and my pronouns are she/her. My personality type according to the MBTI test is INFJ.
I'm someone who doesn't like being the center of attention and is truly happy when I can be helpful. I can't stand gossip and people talking behind others' backs, and I believe that anything can be discussed with proper manners. I hate yelling, classism, and anyone who restricts others' freedoms by assuming the role of a judge. I may often appear cold, but when I'm comfortable and in private, I'm very passionate and have a sense of humor based on irony.
I love perfumes, music (I have a fetish for piano version of my favourite songs), and doing laundry (please bear with me). Unfortunately, I'm allergic to bees and I hate cooking. My hobbies include playing the piano, spending evenings in pajamas chatting with my friends, or strolling around the city (of course, not in pajamas!). I also love attending live concerts (rock, grunge and jazz ones) and visiting museums and/or monuments. I love the sea.
My favorite teams are Too, Seirin, and Vorpal Swords.
Thank you for this event, I find it fantastic!
Lots of love,
V.

Strangers to Lovers
How You Two Met
The day you met Kuroko had purely been an accident. You were out with your friends, taking a walk around the shopping district. Despite being deep in conversation, you managed to weave your way through groups of people and thick crowds with ease. Until you didn't.
Your first meeting with Kuroko was because you had quite literally bumped into him on the street. Even after growing older, he still had an ultra low presence when deep within a crowd. This usually helped him weave through groups as well, but on this day the two of you had managed to find each other.
And boy, was it a little embarrassing.
"Oh, shoot, Vesper are you okay?" one of your friends asked, causing the whole group to turn and look at you on the ground. The commotion had a few strangers in the nearby area looking as well, all eyes on you and the stranger who had toppled you over.
"I'm fine," you murmured, feeling heat rise to your cheeks out of embarrassment. You went to scramble back onto your feet, wanting nothing more than for people to stop staring. Before you could get up however, there was a hand held out in front of you, offering you some help.
"I'm so sorry," the blue haired male in front of you said, sounding a bit breathless. "Here, let me help you up."
How He Fell For You
After that day, you started to notice Kuroko more and more in your area. Had he always attended your school? Did he always have some of the same classes as you? Did he always eat lunch under the same tree outside? It was like, ever since discovering his presence, you couldn't stop seeing him.
And Kuroko would always spot you as well, a polite smile on his face and a single wave in greeting. Sometimes you caught him already staring at you, as if he had found you first in the crowd.
He was interested in you, curious ever since that fateful meeting, and one day he made that interest known.
Seated outside on one of the outdoor tables, your eyes scanned the courtyard for the blue haired man you'd recently spotted everywhere. He seemed nowhere to be found for once and you'd wondered if the two of you would finally stop crossing paths.
The thought was disheartening.
"Excuse me, miss?" But when you turned to the voice that had broken through your thoughts, you saw the very same guy standing before you, a small friendly smile on his face. "Vesper, right?" Realizing it might sound weird that he knew your name, he explained that the two of you shared some classes together before asking, "Mind if I sit here with you?"
What a Relationship with Him is Like
You're a couple who indulges in music, whether that be him listening to you play the piano or the both of you sharing some earphones over lunch. Believe it or not, but Kuroko actually shares with you your love for attending concerts and shows. He's rather good at getting the both of you to the front of the crowd, weaving and dodging his way through people to find the two of you the best view.
He's the type of boyfriend who wants to encourage your hobbies while also hoping you would encourage his own. A day with him often looks like watching him play a few rounds on the court before heading home to relax together for the evening. He'll often talk with you about vacations he'd like to go on with you. Knowing your love for the ocean, it's high on his list.
Even if he knows he might burn.
"You really should wear more sunscreen," you scolded, depositing a dollop of the SPF lotion onto your palm before smoothing it over Kuroko's back.
He winced at the contact, feeling the cool of the lotion over his already burning skin. The pink shade that his pale skin had turned nearly made you laugh if it weren't for the fact he'd look like a lobster soon if he didn't reapply.
"Eh, I should be fine," he reassured, taking the bottle of sunscreen from you before smoothing some over his arms himself. When he turned back to look at you, that smile you loved was already on his face. "I've got you looking after me while we're out here, after all."

hello, i'd like a matchup for my oc Dory (cis fem, she/her)! she's an INFP and, sadly, while in high school, she's not having a very good time, as she's being bullied for being weird. as a result, she keeps to herself, only speaks if spoken to and doesn't really have any friends. it takes a while for her to warm up to someone, but once she does, she lets herself be weird freely (she's a lot more talkative and energetic around someone she's comfortable with)
she really likes the deep sea and its creepy critters, animals in general and as she's an aspiring animator, she vibrates with excitement whenever she sees cool animations (and will info dump/fangirl/talk someone's ear off if given permission)
she dislikes being the center of attention, people who are mean just to be mean and mint
she is an artist (digital and painting), likes to listen to really really loud music and while she's not very sporty, she does enjoy watching her school's baskeball matches (she's a Seirin second year)
as for preferences, anyone from GoM (minus Midorima) + Himuro + Kagami + Momoi + Riko
sorry for how long this got, i got over-excited

Admirers to Lovers
How You Two Met
As the coach of the Seirin basketball team, Riko was often very aware of who was in the gymnasium at any given time. She'd seen Dory more than a handful of times, both in the gymnasium during practices and in the classroom during school hours. Since Dory was often by herself with headphones on (where loud music could always be heard), Riko had just assumed that she preferred to be alone.
It wasn't until, one day when leaving for the gymnasium earlier than she was supposed to, Riko ran into Dory having a little trouble with some bullies that she really started to pay attention. It sort of clicked that this classmate of hers who was always alone wasn't doing it on purpose, but rather was forced to be that way due to her circumstances.
Having a strong sense of justice herself, Riko couldn't leave Dory well enough alone.
The bullies screamed as mucky water was dumped onto them, running away from the scene before anything else other than their uniforms could be damaged. When Dory looked up from her position on the floor, glancing toward the opposite side of the hall, she noticed Riko standing there with an empty mop bucket in hand, her own glare fixated on the space where the bullies had once occupied.
That angered expression softened when she turned her gaze toward Dory. Setting the bucket down, she reached a hand out to help the other girl up. "Are you okay? I think they should be gone at least for a while. Did you want to get a teacher?"
After helping her up and being assured that Dory wasn't as hurt as she'd originally assumed, Riko gave a sigh of relief. Still, she didn't feel comfortable leaving the other girl alone. "You know, I see you at practice sometimes. If you want, we could walk together from now on."
How She Fell For You
From that day forward, Riko would always try to hang out with Dory whenever possible. At first it was almost like a sense of obligation, wanting to see her classmate safe, but after a while it became more to Riko. She genuinely enjoyed spending time with Dory, learning about her interests and info dumping to her about her own.
Riko was always talking about Dory to her other friends and classmates, hyping up her art projects and praising the animation work she would show her. It came to the point that a lot of the boys on the basketball team often teased that Dory was the only person Riko talked about nowadays.
In fact, you could say that the guys realized Riko's feelings for Dory faster than she did.
"What? No, no, no, no! No way!" Riko tried to protest, but the way her cheeks seemed to heat up, flooding her entire face with an embarrassed red, said otherwise. "I don't have a crush! I don't get crushes!"
But the more she thought about it, the more Riko couldn't deny that she often felt so giddy at the thought of another day spent with Dory. The long hours of texting back and forth was something she looked forward to. Finding her in class and getting to see what new projects she was working on was one of the highlights of Riko's day.
It soon became undeniable fact to her: she liked Dory.
What a Relationship with Her is Like
A relationship between Riko and Dory is a little awkward at first, simply because Riko had never imagined herself falling for another girl. She may have tried overdoing things at first, being overly sweet, acting overly chivalrous, being too over the top. It takes her a while to realize that just being herself was the best thing for the relationship.
Unfortunately, Dory is subjected to a lot of Riko's cooking attempts. Riko's love language is acts of service, so she often tries to make treats and snacks for the two of them to share (to which they also often share stomach aches afterwards).
And despite their relationship starting with Riko acting as some kind of savior toward Dory, she never holds that over her girlfriend's head. Instead, she always encourages Dory to be stronger and stand up for herself, hoping one day a little bit of her own confidence would shine through.
"And if they try to bother you again, you can just wham!" Riko exclaims, swinging the clipboard she was holding much like a weapon as she swung it through the air. The action had Dory laughing, watching as Riko over exaggerated her self defense lesson. "Okay, come on, it's your turn to try."
Riko watched as Dory mimicked her actions, swinging her sketchbook with a little less force than Riko had done.
"No, no, with more umph, like this." Riko walked over to Dory's side, placing her hands over her girlfriend's. She guided her in swinging the book with enough follow through to hurt a person. Then, realizing how close they were, Riko blushed red. "O-okay, now try again."

Hey admins! I'm really excited for this event and I was hoping to see if you could match-up my OC to any of the Teikou alumni 😄 Her name is Katsumi (female + she/her) and her MBTI personality type is ENFJ! She's really friendly & can get along well with different types of people. People rely on her a lot since she's hard-working, open-minded, athletic, smart, and a natural leader. She's got a strong sense of justice and refuses to be quiet and submissive, so she dislikes justice and people who contribute to it. She enjoys watching anime, as well as reading manga and novels. On a free day, she'd spend her time indulging in these interests, going cafe-hopping, or drinking with friends. She ends up working in research very close to her advocacies!
I hope this is enough to work with 🥹 Thank you so much, I'm looking forward to what you guys have for my girl, she's my pride and joy and it means a lot to be sharing her lore this way 😭🙏 Wishing everyone the best! 💕
Type of Romance
Enemies to Lovers
How You Two Met
As a young adult, Aomine also takes an interest in going into the justice system as his career, so naturally he and Katsumi would end up in the same circles at some point. Likely through their initial classes.
Katsumi was often outspoken during lessons, answering the professors' questions and challenging opinions that were against her own. He'd normally be the type to ignore that type of person, finding them overbearing and annoying to deal with. But he couldn't help but watch and listen every time she stood from her seat to say her piece. She irked him at first.
Soon enough, he found himself also wanting to challenge Katsumi once in a while. Debating with her, whether they were serious or not, was how he got close to her. Eventually debates turned into teasing remarks, which became the start to a turbulent friendship.
"You don't always have to answer every question the professor asks, you know?" Aomine drawls, casting a tired gaze Katsumi's way. "What are you, a teacher's pet?"
She rolls her eyes at his comments, her lips quirking up into a half smile. She knew how to handle his remarks, giving him a taste of his own medicine. "Just because you're too afraid to ask for clarification doesn't mean I have to be. There's a reason why I'm getting A's and you're getting C's."
Aomine feels his eye twitch at her remark. The lazy stare he had been giving her turns into an annoyed glare, but the grin that spreads out across his lips betray his true emotions. There's a challenge in his eyes that matches her own. He won't back down.
How He Fell For You
A lot of Aomine's initial attraction was purely physical. Katsumi's a beautiful woman with an athletic build, something that Aomine had grown to appreciate past his high school preferences of large chests. And for the longest time, his attraction to her stays purely physical.
Until he hears her getting into a rather heated argument with another person one day.
It's her unwillingness to back down for something she believes in and the spunk she had to keep on fighting that really got to him. He starts to see her in a new light; starts to see her as more than just a pleasant person to look at. He'd never admit it out loud, but Aomine was attracted to strong-willed women (you'd have to be strong-willed to put up with a lot of his attitude). He'd pursued her ever since.
There's a low whistle that interrupts Katsumi's thoughts. She tears her eyes away from the jackass she'd just told off, turning her attention to the tanned man standing beside her. Aomine has a quirk in his brow and a smirk on his face as he asks her, "Did you really have to school him that hard? He's walking away with his tail between his legs."
Instinct and adrenaline tell Katsumi that Aomine's here for a fight as well, so she instantly bites back at him, "Not now, Aomine, unless you want an earful too."
Instead of scaring him off, her quip only has him further interested. "She's got brains and she's feisty." He gives another low whistle. "I like that in a woman."
What a Relationship with Him is Like
It's during the relationship where Aomine learns more about Katsumi. Through dating her, he discovers that she's more than a smart, headstrong woman with a penchant for justice. He becomes privy to her softer side; the side that loves to curl up on the couch with a novel, the side that has the patience of a saint, the side that's like the calm to his storm.
A relationship with Aomine is rough at first. He's argumentive, always wants to be right, but Katsumi's open-mindedness and willingness to work through the bigger issues with him has him growing softer. When he eventually realizes that she's in it for the long haul, he starts changing for the better. For her.
He's a loyal companion who tries to take on her battles, despite knowing she can handle herself most of the time. That doesn't mean he won't call her out on her bullshit however, and he expects her to do the same whenever he needs to be called out as well.
"Why'd you stay with me?"
His question catches Katsumi off guard. She gives Aomine an incredulous look, but once she sees the sincere confusion in his eyes her gaze softens. She knows what he's alluding to — all their fights, arguments, squabbles; all in the past now, but still fresh in his mind. Plaguing him like the thought that she could do so much better with someone else.
She gives him the truth. "Because I knew you could do better." After a moment, she adds, "And because I love you."

Type of Romance
Unrequited Crush to Lovers
How You Two Met
It was hard not to know of Nebuya, the loud mouthed, muscular, center player of the basketball team. His reputation of preceded him wherever he went. And if you were being honest with yourself, it wasn't a reputation you liked.
Nebuya had known of you initially from just normal talk between classrooms. There weren't rumors, per se, but people knew of the sarcastic woman in the other class who took no bullshit and mostly kept to herself. Curiosity got the best of him one day and he tried to figure out exactly who you were by joining in on some mutual friends' plans.
It wasn't exactly the best of first impressions.
He had been boasting about himself for the better half of an hour, talking over your friends and not letting them get a word in edgewise. It was beginning to irk you and you could feel the subtle twitch of a muscle near your eye. You had suspected you wouldn't exactly get along with Nebuya, but you hadn't expected for him to be this aggravating.
"You're rather rude, aren't you?" you asked him sarcastically, quirking a brow when he halted mid-sentence to hear you out.
Your comment had Nebuya pausing for thought, but it didn't deter him in the slightest. In fact, he seemed to like that you had the guts to call him out on something. Grinning, it only spurred another long ramble from him that you were unfortunately subjected to.
How He Fell For You
To say it was love at first sight for him would be a bit of an understatement.
Nebuya loved fiercely independent women and, in his eyes, you seemed to fit the bill to the T. He liked that you could be sassy, stood up for your values, and appeared to be a rather dominant personality. He often day dreamed of the two of you together, thinking you'd make a rather strong power couple.
Asking you out was a different story however, as you'd made it clear that part of his own personality were a deal breaker for you. It made him reflect on his own actions a lot. One might even venture to say that his crush on you was a catalyst to his own self reflection and change for the better.
It was a strange sight indeed, Nebuya standing before you and almost looking nervous; humbled. He had a large hand on the back of his head, scratching awkwardly at his neck while he stood in front of you.
"You're not going to ask me out, are you?" you ask him, a rejection already on the forefront of your mind. "What makes you think I'll say yes."
"I know you'll say no," he confesses. Despite his words, there's still a bit of that Nebuya brand confidence in his tone. "And I know you don't have to believe me when I say I've been working on myself. I'll understand if you say no, but I was hoping I could have at least one chance. One date."
What a Relationship with Him is Like
A relationship between you and Nebuya isn't easy at first, as a lot of his previous personality that you didn't enjoy often creeps out. Sometimes he needs reminders that he can come off as an ass at times. But he honestly tries and it's clear that he absorbs what you say when you call him out on something wrong.
He's the type of boyfriend to be constantly hyping you up, wanting to make sure you know he thinks you're the best. He also greatly appreciates your independence and he respects it. Usually. It's hard for people to believe at first, but in your relationship with him, he's actually the more clingier one.
A relationship with Nebuya will have its ups and downs, but the overall net is that you have a loving boyfriend who is fiercely loyal.
"We should check this out," you mentioned one day, holding on to a flier for a local sumo wrestling competition that was being held. "I think it might be too late for you to join, but we can still watch it. And maybe afterward, we can catch a movie."
Nebuya looked between you and the flier, and expression of surprise crossing his face. Like he was surprised you knew what he was interested in — like he hadn't bragged about his hobbies and interests when first meeting you. It made you roll your eyes, smiling as you commented, "Of course I would remember."
Wrapping an arm around your shoulder, he'd pull you close and press a kiss to the top of you head. "I seriously have the best girlfriend in the world."

hello! thanks for doing the valentines match-ups, it's such a cute idea!
nickname: J
pronouns: she/her
personality type: I'm an isfj and enneagram 6! I tend to be quite reserved around people that I've just met and even though I have no issues carrying a conversation, I find it really hard to start one. I'm easy-going and generally don't like conflict, but I'm an honest person and don't like to sugarcoat things, so if someone says something problematic or that I really don't agree with, I can't help but show it on my face even if I've just met the person, and if it's a friend or an acquaintance I'll definitely call them out on it and even argue with them if it's something that I really believe in. it takes me quite a long while to properly open up to people, so only my close friends get to see my loud and crazy side; most of my core memories feature literally rolling around on the floor laughing with my close friends. confident and cool on the surface but prone to overthinking and anxiety, though I'd rather die than let people see me cry, especially the people that I care about.
likes: writing, sunsets, music (specifically pop, rock, and indie)
dislikes: tomatoes, long distance running, pretentious people who think they're too good for pop music
hobbies: journalling and music! I sing and play the guitar
I have a soft spot for gom, kaijo, and seirin, but I'm cool if you'd think anyone else would be a better match!
thanks again for doing this! I hope this wasn't too long ><
Type of Romance
Strangers to Lovers
How You Two Met
Kasamatsu had been in the music room after classes one day, practice having been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. With some time to kill and not wanting to be harassed by his more rowdier teammates, he'd decided to spend some of his time practicing his other hobbies: namely guitar.
You had decided to do pretty much the same and were on your way to the music room when you heard the notes of a familiar song already being played. Whoever was on the inside of the classroom was good, the melody recognizable the instant it hit your ears.
When the song had ended, you entered the classroom to see Kasamatsu seated inside. You wanted to compliment him on his playing. However...
"That was really good. Do you play guitar a lot?" you asked as you entered the classroom, locking eyes with the Kaijou captain.
It all seemed to go downhill from there as, the second his eyes locked onto yours, Kasamatsu's face seemed to go red. He opened his mouth, only to close it seconds later as no sound came out. He could feel his nerves start to kick in and he stood from his seat quickly, nearly toppling over the guitar he had just been playing.
"Yes!" he answered, almost too loud and too quickly. Realizing he sounded like a fool, he bowed quickly and added, "Bye!" Before he practically ran out of the room.
How He Fell For You
It was clear from the beginning that Kasamatsu had a hard time talking with girls, but that didn't stop you from catching him in the music room every so often. And that didn't stop him from going there.
Kasamatsu was glad that, after that first meeting, you never really forced him to talk outright, instead letting the music between the two of you do the speaking. Eventually he stopped running out of the room the second you arrived, instead staying seated and playing along with whatever tunes were in his head. When you started joining in with him, he may have faltered a bit, but it soon became some kind of unspoken language between the two of you.
Eventually actual words were reintroduced into your 'conversations', with you doing most of the talking. Day by day, he seemed to stutter less and less.
You had walked in on Kasamatsu playing a tune you didn't recognize, the melody slow and sweet. He didn't even flinch when you walked closer, taking the sit directly adjacent from him. While he played, you nodded your head along and smiled at the music.
When the song ended and he simply stayed staring at his fingers on the frets, you asked, "What song was that? It was really nice."
He seemed to pause for a second, finding the words that wouldn't get caught on his tongue. After a moment, he choked out three syllables, "I wrote it." He tried to ignore your interested awe, head full of fuzz when you asked him what he'd titled his song. Speaking before he could back down, he answered, "W-Will You Go Out with Me?"
What a Relationship with Him is Like
A relationship with Kasamatsu is slow going. Despite dating you, he's still extremely nervous to be doing most things with you alone. It's a good thing he has so many friends who are willing to stick around when he finally announces he's dating someone. He totally isn't angry that they keep pestering the both of you. Nope. Not at all...
With how nervous and stammering he was around you at first, it definitely comes as a surprise when you learn about it true nature around his friends and teammates. He almost seems more embarrassed to have you see him that way, but it only encourages you to show more of yourself to him as well.
All in all, a relationship with Kasamatsu is a learning experience for the both of you where, as every day goes by, you only grow closer and closer.
"Sorry about them," Kasamatsu mutters as he glares at his retreating teammates, making sure they actually left you and him alone for the remainder of your time together. Under his breath, you hear him grumble something about extra laps and drills.
It had you laughing. And when you linked your hand with his, threading your fingers together and causing him to flush red, you laughed more. "I don't mind. It's interesting seeing this different side of you."
"Y-yeah?" He huffed a bit, trying to fight back the heat on his face. Despite the embarrassment, he gave you a small smile. "You're pretty interesting yourself, J."

Hi! The fact you guys are doing match ups with three scenarios as a valentine event is so generous and nice! You guys are amazing and it’s great to see you back running the blog again!
I go by ‘Alice’ since by nature I am very curious about everything. I am an INFP and Libra who loves to read, to explore new places(but love the beach), and also like to take my time enjoying life with no rush. People think I can be shy at first because I don’t speak much, but once I become close to someone I can be very talkative to the point I basically blurt anything that’s on my mind. I can be kind, yet stubborn; pensive, yet impulsive. But ultimately, I am a daydreamer. In general I’m a laid back person, but depending on who I hang out with, I can match my energy, but too much social interaction can drain me. Things I dislike would be freezing temperatures, spicy food, and things that happen unfairly if there can be compromise. My hobbies can range from writing stories to music, baking all kinds of sweets, and making a day of going on hikes. I feel it’s a bit important to mention, I absolutely adore Nigou. I love animals and he’s the most adorable fictional pup ever.
My favorite characters would be Kuroko, Akashi, Aomine, and Kagami, but I don’t mind anyone from GoM or Seirin. Thank you!

Friends to Lovers
How You Two Met
Koganei and you had been friends for practically all of your lives, living next to each other from childhood. With his naturally friendly nature, it didn't take very long for him to become one of the people you would hang out with the most as a child.
Even as the two of you grew, while developing your own friend groups and hobbies, you always held onto that friendship between the two of you. After school hours were often spent walking home together, sometimes taking detours to the shopping district, and frequenting cafes for an afternoon snack.
If anyone didn't know any better, they would have assumed the two of you had been dating all along.
"Oh, here, let me hold these for you," Koganei offered, grabbing on to the bags you had accumulated on your shopping trick together. He balanced them on the crook of his elbow, holding them along with his own shopping bags.
Neither of you missed the way a few people on the street seemed to look your way, hiding smiles behind their hands. It was a cute sight to behold and when an elderly lady nearby murmured something about you having such a sweet boyfriend, the both of you felt heat rise to your cheeks.
"Oh, I'm just a friend," Koganei corrected. It didn't stop that pesky blush from creeping onto his face every time he looked at you after that, however.
How He Fell For You
He heard it all the time, from friends and acquaintances alike — "You like Alice, right?" "Aren't you and Alice dating?" "So when did you guys get together?" — but he always denied it with an awkward laugh and a wave of his hand. You two were always such great friends, that was all.
Until one day the thoughts just couldn't get out of his head. What if the two of you could be more?
Falling in love with you was something that happened both excruciatingly slow, but all too fast for Koganei. It was like the feelings had been there all along, hidden, but once they were revealed to him it all seemed to hit him like a brick. Suddenly it was all he could think about.
"Did you ever think about us being more than friends, Alice?"
His question had caught you off guard. Koganei wasn't looking at you as he waited for your answer. Red was dusting his cheeks and he seemed to be fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. It was unlike him to look so nervous in front of you. "A few times," you confessed, not wanting him to wait much longer for an answer. "Have you?"
He seemed almost relieved at your response, the tension in his shoulders dropping. "A lot more often, recently," he admitted. Then, slowly, he added, "Would you... like to try?"
What a Relationship with Him is Like
A relationship with Koganei is an adventurous one because he's just as curious about things as you are. More often that not, dates consist of either of you suggesting new places you'd never been to before, always wanting to explore the unknown. He's a picture taker, so expect every single moment with you to be documented and saved somewhere on his phone. His lock screen is constantly changing because he just can't seem to choose a favorite picture of the two of you together.
Really, transitioning between just being friends and actually dating Koganei doesn't mean a lot changes between the two of you. With him, it's like dating your best friend. Natural and easy.
As for you love for animals, well...
"Do you think we should adopt one, Alice?"
You give Koganei an owlish stare. He has a kitten in his lap, one of the smallest ones that cafe had roaming around the room. A content smile was on his face while he wriggled one of his fingers above the kitten's head, catching its attention and making it swat at him. "Like a cat?" you asked, wanting to clarify. "Together?"
Turning his attention toward you, Koganei grinned. "Yeah, we could get a little kitty and take care of it together. It'll be like our first baby! Our fuzzy little— Ow!" he yelped, tearing his eyes away from you to look at the kitten on his lap who had just latched onto his finger. It only made you laugh, imagining what it'd be like to take on such a responsibility with your boyfriend.

Rivals to Lovers
How You Two Met
The two of you had met at a Maji Burger, having gone after classes at around the same time for a late second lunch. Kagami had arrived with his friends and teammates, prattling off his usual long order at the counter. Lo and behold his surprise when the staff happened to put out a very similar order only a few minutes after he'd paid. Usually they took longer.
Assuming it was his, he began to grab at some of the bags, but you had quickly snatched them out of his hands with a glare claiming that they were all for you (and your friends, but mostly you). Despite it being an accident, you had taken it as a sleight and swore you'd be keeping an eye on him.
Thus was a rather strange start to a school yard rivalry between the two of you.
"I already apologized for grabbing your stuff. I just thought it was mine," Kagami blurted out, tone loud and exasperated as he glared at you. He was trying to ignore his friends and teammates in the background telling him to just back off and let it go already.
"Right, likely story," you huffed, glaring back at him. You were doing the same as Kagami, ignoring the protests of your friends behind you. "I had a very long, very specific order. There's no way you would mistake mine for yours because there's no way you ordered just as much—"
And then Kagami's order was called, bags upon bags of food being set out onto the counter. You blinked owlishly at it, having been proven wrong. "Oh..."
How He Fell For You
With just as strong of a competitive nature as you, Kagami often took up any perceived challenge you threw at him with open arms. It was fun for him having someone at his school like you to bicker with because you never backed down.
It wasn't until, one day, he had found you napping outside the school courtyard on a bench, did he realize just why he enjoyed your presence so much. Seeing you sleeping so peacefully — a stark contrast from the competitive attitude you always showed him — had him realizing he'd grown accustomed to your presence always around.
You caught him staring and that was the start of it all.
Peeking one of your eyes open, you found Kagami standing nearby. His eyes had been locked onto your sleeping figure, staring intently. "You look like a creep staring at me like that," you quipped, tone teasing.
It was enough to have Kagami's skin flushing nearly the same color as his hair. He spluttered, brows pinching together like he had been caught doing something much dirtier. "It's not like that!" he protested, walking closer as you sat up fully from your position on the bench. When you asked him to elaborate, he almost didn't answer. But then, quietly, like it was a confession in itself, he murmured.
"You just... looked really peaceful, Ana. It was nice."
What a Relationship with Him is Like
He's conflicted at first as to whether or not he should remain competitive with you. Girls liked it when their boyfriends went easy on them, right? Let them win? But you quickly called him out on that, telling him it was the challenge he presented that you enjoyed the most.
Despite how your relationship with him started, Kagami still tries to do some of the more domestic, couple things with you. He'll bring you lunch every so often, cooked by his own hand — though he would never tell you he fretted over making everything so perfect. And despite his dwindling savings and your ravenous appetite, he'll always insist on paying for the both of your meals.
All in all, a romantic relationship with Kagami feels a lot like how your previous relationship with him was. With the added benefit of boyfriend-only activities.
"I already gave you your own bento for lunch today, quit pickin' from mine," Kagami complained, swatting at your chopsticks as you tried to snag one of the fried pieces of chicken out of his container.
After a little battle with the ends of your chopsticks, you were successful in grabbing a piece of his lunch, popping the delicious treat between your lips. Humming in approval, you looked up to Kagami with a bit of a mischievous grin. He met your stare with a slight glare that slowly melted into something more content. He wasn't that mad at you stealing his food.
So you flicked at his forehead in retaliation. "You're not supposed to let me win," you scolded, snatching up another piece of his lunch. He groaned, "There's no winning with you!"

Hello!~ I usually don’t ask for matchups, but I love the way you guys write for them….! So if it’s okay, I’d like to request one..!♡
Knb!OC name is Koiri Kuragi; she/her. Her personality mostly comes through around those who know her more than surface level.
Personality type infp. Outwardly, she appears a bit cynical and awkward, but still very kind/‘people pleaser’ presence.
When she’s comfortable, she’s much more unhinged and likes to make people laugh. Empathetic to people’s concerns and open to helping those around her, as long as it’s not inconvenient for her.
She has no interest in participating in sports, but enjoys watching ones that are easy to follow, like basketball/tennis/volleyball. She often finds herself with free time and likes to watch the sports clubs from the sidelines while she does her homework. She likes to doodle on her work books when she’s too distracted.
She has some emotional baggage she chooses to keep quiet about, but would benefit from having a partner who would listen to her and validate her problematic childhood experiences. She likes feeling protected, and able to speak her mind without walking on eggshells around them.
I hope this is okay..! Thank you guys so much, I hope you all are doing well!♡
Type of Romance
Strangers to Lovers
How You Two Met
The day she met Takao, Koiri was sitting in the Shutoku gymnasium watching the regulars practice while she finished up some homework. She was seated up in the bleachers, away from the actual court and players. Being so engrossed into her studies, she didn't realize that one of the regulars had wandered up toward the bleachers to get a better bird's eye view of the court.
Takao had spotted Koiri the second he got up to the audience's seating area, but he didn't recognize her. They were of different classes, so their paths had never crossed prior to this moment.
Being the friendly type he was, he instantly tried to strike up a conversation.
"Oooh, that drawing looks like Shin-chan," Takao commented, nearly startling Koiri out of her seat. He was standing behind her, having just looked over her shoulder at the doodles she'd drawn all over her work bork.
Koiri looked down at the drawing she'd scrawled into the margins of her book: a simple scribble of a boy with glasses holding a basketball. She didn't recognize the name, but she nodded anyway. "Uh, yeah, I guess."
Takao was quick to catch on to her awkward response, though he thought it was for a different reason. "So, do you like him?"
How He Fell For You
When they first got to know each other, Takao made it his goal to try and get Koiri to crack a smile — maybe even laugh — at his antics. Due to her own playful nature, it didn't take long for Takao to eventually break through her walls and get to know the real Koiri. He fell for her from that point forward, loving how well they got along.
He loved that she often shared the same humor with him and found himself seeking her out whenever he wanted to hang out with someone like-minded. Before he knew it, it became routine for him to find her up in the bleachers during practice. He'd often be found explaining to her every move that was being made on court, never missing a single one. She was often amazed by just how much he noticed.
Of course, falling for someone meant he also noticed when things weren't exactly right with her.
"Oooh, look, he's about to do a fade," Takao said, pointing out one of his teammates to Koiri. When he looked over at her to see if she was paying attention, he noticed the way her eyes were pointed right at the court, yet they seemed so far away. Like she was lost in thought. It wasn't like the Koiri he knew. Takao poked at her side, getting her full attention when she turned to look at him. "Hey, you okay?"
The question caught Koiri off guard and she wound up giving away a little of her actual feelings when she glanced away for just a second. Takao was always so observant, it was only a matter of time before he'd noticed something was off.
When he reached out a hand to turn her head toward his again, his eyes looked serious. "You can tell me, you know. I'll listen. And not just because I like you."
What a Relationship with Him is Like
Despite Takao promising to listen, it actually takes him a bit to comprehend the deeper and darker feelings Koiri has. That doesn't stop him from trying however as he tries to become that solid foundation she can lean on from time to time.
A relationship between Takao and Koiri matures them both in the best of ways. It allows Takao to grow as an individual in the sense that he learns to deal with the uglier sides of life when helping a loved one. It allows Koiri to grow as well as she learns to relinquish trust to those who truly care.
Their playful nature never really leaves either of them, but all in all, a relationship between the two allows them both to flourish.
"Hey, come here for a second," Takao requests, holding an arm out for Koiri to nestle herself under. Once she's in place, Takao wraps his arm around her and squeezes her tightly to his side. It's a comforting gesture. One that has Koiri instantly sighing with content.
Until Takao's fingers begin dancing along her sides in a ticklish attack. "K-Kazunari, stop!"
"Can't hear you!" Takao teases, holding even tighter onto Koiri while he continued his onslaught. It brought bubbling laughter and mirthful tears to both of them as she tried to pry herself away. In turn, Takao only squeezed her tighter and closer. "Can't get away from me now. I'm never letting go!"

Type of Romance
Arranged Lovers
How You Two Met
Akashi and Soleil had had their lives intertwined seemingly from the moment they were born. Arranged to be betrothed by an agreement through their parents, they had known of each other since they were young. Though their first meeting didn't actually happen until they were both well into their teen years.
The first time Soleil actually met Akashi, it had been at a banquet hosted by his family. It felt much like a business meeting of sorts, the two of them acting very formally with each other.
It was clear from the start that this had been an arranged marriage out of obligation and convenience, not out of affection.
"Soleil, you remember Seijuro, your fiancé," her mother introduced, pulling Soleil along by the crook of her arm toward a stoic looking male standing near the head of the table.
Once in front of him, Akashi took one glance over at Soleil and her mother. The faintest of smiles graced his lips, the faux happiness in it not reaching his eyes. He gave a respectful bow to her mother before taking one of Soleil's hands, grazing her skin with a gentle kiss.
"It's lovely to see you again, my fiancée," he greeted, sounding so formal. So fake.
How He Fell For You
As teenagers and young adults, Soleil and Akashi were made to get to know each other better, constantly being put together in the same places and occasions. Usually this meant attending the same social events together, where the both of them would put on the air of picture perfect couple for their families and guests.
Though, it was when they were both behind closed doors, allowed to spend moments together with just the two of them as company, that Akashi started to actually garner feelings for Soleil. Through long conversations and deeper topics, he came to learn that she was more than just the superficial perfect girl she was made out to be. He came to love her for her flaws.
It was the kind and often gifting Soleil that he came to love the most.
"This is for me?" Akashi took the gift bag from Soleil's hands, peeking inside at the item she had delicately tucked away inside. When he pulled it out, a long scarf spilled from its confines, delicate and in one of his favored colors. He rubbed the fabric of it between his fingers, gentle smile on his features. "It feels nice. Where did you get this?"
"I crocheted it myself for you," she responded, picking up the dangling end of the scarf. Delicately, she wrapped it around him, giving him her own warm smile when it was curled around his neck. "I noticed yours had been getting worn out, so I thought to make you a new one."
"You made it...?" He paused, looking again between the craftmanship and Soleil. This time when he smiled, it reached his eyes. "You really do surprise me every day."
What a Relationship with Him is Like
At first, a relationship between Akashi and Soleil is very strained. As an arranged betrothment, neither of them had any idea what the other was like before they were thrust into the relationship. On Akashi's part, he almost felt defiant enough to not want to get to know her.
But over time and after long conversations, the relationship tempers out and the both of them realize they actually do care for each other deeply.
Akashi is an attentive fiancé, always seeming to know what Soleil needs in the moment for her own mental health and benefit. He shares with her a love for finer things, while also being able to share with her the passion and motivation they both put behind their beloved sports and hobbies. They're like two halves of the same person.
Soleil had a binder out in front of her, pictures of venues and color stories laid out on each page. She was scratching at her head, overwhelmed by all the choices that had been presented to her. Through her frustration, a deep sigh left her lips. It was this noise that Akashi heard as he entered the room she was in.
"Take a break, Soleil," he told her calmly, coming up behind her and pressing a kiss to the back of her head. Slowly, his hands came around to close the binder she was looking at. "We can think about wedding venues at another time."
Before she could respond, Akashi turned the chair she was sitting in around. He gave her a warm smile, pulling her from her seat to be closer to him. "I'd like to spend some time with my fiancée today."

Type of Romance
Acquaintances to Lovers
How You Two Met
The two of you had always been classmates growing up, always in the same circles but never really interacting. You were within each other's orbits. Two people on different paths constantly passing by.
It was no surprise to anyone when the two of you managed to go to the same college, despite never saying a word to each other. And it was at college where the two of you were finally forced into the same situation.
Sometimes you just had to thank group projects for something.
You take the paper with the group project rubric from your professor, giving it a glance over while you meandered your way to the corner of the room. Three people are already seated in the area — your partners for the semester. Two of them were chatting with each other, absorbed in their own animated conversation. The last one seemed to only glance up when you approached. You recognized him instantly.
"Mayuzumi," you greeted, giving him a single nod. He responded in kind, nodding as well. "Lumi."
"Oh great, you two already know each other, then?" one of your other group partners asked. She gave you a grin, looking between you and the silver haired male. "Let's split the project up 50/50 then. I'm sure it would be more comfortable if you worked with your friend."
How He Fell For You
When he first started interacting with you, Mayuzumi thought you would be too similar to him; quiet, nonchalant, honestly a little bit boring to the initial eye. But he was wrong. And pleasantly surprised.
Your personality shined through when you both communicated through text and he found it easier getting to know you when the two of you were apart versus when you were in the same room. He liked the elaborate little pictures you would make, sending strings of emojis that would spell out a story. It was like a game of charades.
He knew from the moment he started to find you interesting that he was falling for you. Now the problem was, how would he ask you out?
"They're idiots!" you complained over text, sending a slew of emojis after the words. Some were angry, some were exasperated, most were annoyed.
It had Mayuzumi's lips quirking into a subtle smile as he read the conversation between the two of you. You were complaining about the group project — specifically, you were complaining about the lack of help from your other two partners — and Mayuzumi was doing nothing but agreeing with you, further fueling your anger.
"We should just split off and do it ourselves. Screw them!" you texted again after a while and it gave him a good idea. He quickly responded, liking the sound of working with you one on one. "Yeah, let's do that, Lumi."
What a Relationship with Him is Like
Out in public, the two of you are a rather naturally quiet couple. Coffee dates often consist of the both of you sitting quietly at a table with your own drinks in hand, Mayuzumi reading a novel while you played around with a game. It was never lonely, but rather a comfortable feeling sticking around his side.
Out of the public eye, however, Mayuzumi shows you a bit more of his romantic side. Gentle caresses and sweet kisses to the top of your head, loving gestures and suprise gifts. He'd never admit it, but he took a lot of his cues on romance from the novels he read.
All in all, a relationship with Mayuzumi is soothing, relaxing, and easy. As if the two of you were meant to cross each other's orbits all along.
Walking outside, the two of you were hand in hand as you made your way home from the cafe date that had just been completed. You were only a few steps away from the cafe when Mayuzumi suddenly switched sides with you on the sidewalk, putting himself between you and the road. It had you quirking a brow before a small, amused smile crossed your features.
"What?" Mayuzumi asked, his own subtle smile matching your own. He already knew what you were thinking, but after hearing you confirm his thoughts, his smile only grew. "So what if I read that in a book somewhere? It works, doesn't it? Just like this."
And as Mayuzumi said the last part, he brought the back of your hand up to meet his lips, giving your skin a soft kiss that had your cheeks flooding with heat.
