Since I lov pokemon so much,I felt like making headcanons(if I can call it that) for ramshackle characters if they had a pokemon parthner. I was gonna include more but I'm too tired to draw today,,,

Vinnie:

- I gave her a Scorbunny

- Vinnie 'n Scorbunny didn't rly get along at first(I imagine Scorbunny stealing beans from her cus it wants food too) but they eventually get along n help each other pickpocket others.

-I can see them winning a football match,, and even if they don't,they at least have fun playing and setting the ball on fire.

- Cinderace's(Scorbunny's final evo) reminded me of Vinnie.

-they give each other high five cus they're cool.

Stone:

- I gave him an Umbreon

- I imagine Stone having Umbreon b4 he ran away(at least I assume he ran away) and became a stinky homeless alcoholic. He had it since it was an Eevee.

-also,, Eevee evolves I to Umbreon during night and by leveling the friendship(key word ***friendship***. I think it'd be wholesome)

hi noelle i Love pokemon..but also idk wtf ivs and evs do. if u want an excuse to yap abt game mechanics in pkmn im all ears

IVs are short for individual values and EVs are short for effort values. they both affect a pokemon's stats but IVs are unchangeable and unique to each pokemon and EVs are obtainable through battle experience.

depending on what generation of pokemon you're playing they sort of do different things... in gens 1-2 IVs were called "DVs" (short for determinant values, presumably because they determine a pokemon's stats) and there were 5 instead of 6. this is because in the original games special attack and special defence were just one stat called "special", and even in gen 2 when they split it into special attack and special defence there was one DV that controlled them both.

so for DVs the way they work is that for each of the 5, the game would roll a number between 0 and 15, with 0 being the worst and 15 being the best. and you can think of them sort of like a pokemon's "genetics" where it's like. if 2 pokemon of the same species were raised exactly the same way the one with better DVs would have marginally better stats

similarly, EVs are called "stat experience" in gen 1-2. the way it works is when you knock out a pokemon, their base stats are added to the stat experience of your pokemon. like mew has base 100 in each stat so if you knocked out mew you'd get 100 stat points added to each of the stats. and you can max out your stat experience in every stat. the cap for stat experience is 65536 (<- this number comes up a lot in pokemon LMAO).

^ this is the stat formula for gens 1-2, you can see the DV placement here LOL. a pokemon with a perfect 15 DVs will have 15 extra points in a stat at level 50 and 30 extra points at level 100. similarly stat experience, if you max it out at 65536 will boost your stat by 32 at level 50 and 64 at level 100. (square root of 65536 = 256, 256/4 = 64). so like a mew with max stat experience and 15 DVs at level 100 will have 404 HP, and a mew with 0 DVs in HP and no stat experience will have 310 HP.

so basically for gen 1-2 each DV in a stat will boost it by 1 point at level 50 and 2 at 100, and every time you surpass a new square of a multiple of 4 stat experience points (16, 64, 144, 256, etc) the stat will go up by one at level 100

before i go onto IVs and EVs (sorry for all the preamble) i just really quickly wanna say that the way shininess was calculated in gen 2 (and technically 1, you could catch a pokemon in gen 1 and transfer it to 2 and it'd be shiny) was actually completely determined by DVs :-]

in order for a pokemon to be shiny it had to have 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14 or 15 DVs in attack and then 10 in defence, special and speed. all in all this works out to 1/2 for attack, 1/16 for defence, 1/16 for special and 1/16 for speed. or (1/2) * (1/16)^3 OR 1/8192.

the attack DV also determines gender, it checks the DV against the gender ratio and if it's lower than the ratio it's female and if it's higher it's male. like the staters have a 1/8 chance to be female, so this means they'll only be female if this attack DV is 0 or 1. consequently, this also means you can't get the starters, fossils, snorlax, eevee or any eeveelutions that are female and shiny at the same time in gen 2.

breeding in gen 2 also used DVs in a way that makes breeding for shiny pokemon when you already have one REALLY easy. when you're breeding pokemon in gen 2 the male parent passes DVs to the female offspring and the mother passes DVs to the male offspring. if ditto is one of the parents the baby ALWAYS get DVs passed down from ditto.

the way they're passed down is like. defence is always identical, and special has a 50% chance of being passed down directly and a 50% chance of differing by +/- 8. this means that if you breed with a shiny pokemon the baby that it inherits DVs from will have a 1/64 chance of being shiny. because attack has a 1/2 chance still, defence is guaranteed, special has a 1/2 chance and speed is 1/16 still. so it goes down from 1/8192 to 1/64 for the applicable kid. this is relevant because like. 1, because the red gyarados has its DVs preset it's always male which means you can use it to breed for shinies of other species, (the female parent determines the species) and 2 there's a glitch in gen 1 that lets you guarentee a shiny ditto. gyarados can learn mimic in gen 1 so you trade the shiny over to gen 1, teach it mimic and encounter a ditto. use mimic and give gyarados transform. ditto will use transform and turn into the gyarados again WITH transform in its moveset from mimic. if ditto uses transform while already transformed it'll copy gyarados's DVs meaning that it'll be shiny when you trade it into gen 2. you can technically do this with mew too since it learns transform, but the way you'd even go about encountering a mew at level 10 is really weird to go into and this is tedious enough

all of this to say you can get 1/64 shinies really easily through breeding in gen 2 with that ditto glitch. ANYWAYS

onto IVs and EVs. they work very similarly to DVs and stat experience.

IVs, instead of ranging from 0 - 15 range from 0 - 31 and EVs cap out at 255 (or 252 in gen 6+) instead of 65536

IVs work almost exactly the same only in the formula they're standalone instead of being multiplied by 2 and boost stats by 31 at level 100 instead of 30

EVs work differently though. in gen 1-2 you could max out your stat experience in EVERY stat and your opponents' base stats were just tacked onto yours as stat experience. in gen 3+ this is not the case at ALL.

every pokemon will give between 1 and 3 EVs upon being defeated depending on what their highest stat is (defaulting to HP in the case of pokemon where it's the same across the board) and what stage they are in their evolutionary line. like pikachu gives 2 speed because its highest stat is speed and it's the second pokemon in its line (pichu would give 1 speed, raichu gives 3), mismagius gives 1 in special attack and 1 in special defence because they're tied and it makes for 2 in total, latias gives 3 in special defence, etc. all legendary and mythical pokemon also give 3 even though they're the only members of their evolutionary line.

not EVERY pokemon follows this exactly, like venusaur gives 2 special attack 1 special defence and stuff but it's still like very close yknow

but yeah instead of being able to max out each stat, you can gain a maximum of 510 EVs in total, where you can put a max of 255 of them in any given stat in gen 3-5 and 252 in gen 6+.

this is the formula ^ instead of the whole square root of stat experience it's just flat EVs in a stat/4. the reason the cap was changed from 255 to 252 in gen 6 is because it rounds down, so after 252 you'd be incapable of raising it the stat anymore (you’d need 256)

the nature multiplier is just like. x1.1 for the boosted stat and x0.9 for the lowered one where applicable. like a modest nature pokemon would have a 10% boost in special attack and a 10% decrease in physical attack a lax nature is x1.1 for defence x0.9 for special defence etc

i think that's it LOL. basically just think IVs are a pokemon's like inherent ability or aptitude in a stat and EVs are experience it gets from fighting other pokemon

(i dont know if you know pokemon but i have a thing to ask about it) i actually thought of the jace opposites having Eeveelutions and here is what i think they would have i dont know if you would agree to these to be honest but if you think other wise on witch Eeveelution is better fitting for them ill go with it Let me Know what you think wally - Vaporeon or Eevee Julie - Eevee (a themed Eevee that she would like the most witch in my opinion is pastel gothic lolita look) sally - eevee Umbreon or Flareon (umbreon is a option cause stars night glowing and other things as for Flareon Cause most Flareons are shy and dont like being around people) frank - a hyper active Eevee or Jolteon (cause there both hyperactive like frank and it might be cute) Barnaby -Espeon (Espeon is a good option for him cause Espeons can help around for him in the library by using telekinesis and can be calm and relaxing for as a reading buddy) Howdy - Glaceon or Leafeon (both very sassy and scary pokemon and would fit him very well cause you dont want to mess around with those two pokemons not to mention they can help around the store as well) Eddie - Shiny Eevee (why cause it might remind him of Frank 7w7 also they will be a great partner for there business) Poppy - Gothic Type of Sylveon (i thought a Sylveon will match her perfectly cause one there a dragon slayer and two they look innocent but the Sylveon wanted to match the ascetic as poppy so they did not to mention im drawing the gothic Sylveon Right now Lol)

[Forgets to post about an art challenge I'm doing.] howdy hey yeah i'm. doing one of those. it's a monthly art challenge called faketober by cursedeya on twitter to draw fakemon every month. but im not just doing fakemon im designing my own creatures called mystiphims! day one was eeveelutions, so. dragon type eeveelution. and two mystiphims that are eevee-likes.

sorry expanding on the dark type post. while yes a lot of dark types can be violent or scary, a lot of behaviors described im pokedexes tend to be specifically wild behaviors, exaggerated, or are old myths. a houndoom burn won’t burn forever, that’s a myth and an exaggeration, but because of the venom in their fire they do tend to cause the burning pain for fucking weeks, maybe rven over a month, and it also fucks hup the healing process making it take longer. until modern medicine, getting attacked by a pack of houndour and houndoom was basically a death sentance so people assumed it was forever because people rarely lived longer than a few weeks after, and the pain would still be happening.

and yes, some wild behaviors are stuff trainer’s should aim to emulate! giving a bisharp some pawniard to command makes them feel safer and more comfortable, as well as makes them easier to train and control in battle as they’re more likely to see you as a kingambit. yes, taking care of multiple in that line is hard, but bisharp is not the most beginner friendly pokemon anyways, and if you train the army well they become a whole lot easier to deal with than a defiant bisharp that sees a trainer as an equal or a pawniard. the thing is, you should also be careful while emulating this wild behavior with your bisharp because if you aren’t careful they could pick up more pawniard or become territorial. you cant just give them a pawniard or two and call it a day, you still gotta cement yourself as an authority figure in a way they respect, and they’ll respect you.

On the flip side, some wild behaviors shouldn’t be encouraged with caught pokemon. do not encourage your hydreigon to rip apart anything that moves. i let mine go ham in battle but she knows the limits of most other pokemon and will listen when i say stop becausr she is well trained. a owned hydreigon does not need to be overly brutal as that is both a hunting method and survival method, and even if you’re letting your pokemon hunt and stuff, YOU’RE IDEALLY THERE TO FEED AND PROTECT THEM IF SHIT GOES WRONG. but yea it depends on the pokemon, where you live, and ehat works for you.

anyways what im saying is like all pokemon, dark types can absolutely be brutal and dangerous, and dark types have their reputation for a reason. they especially seem to do shit that seems cruel at first. but you gotta remember often times pokemon dont realize their survival behaviors can harm others, and often times humns misunderstand a pokemons behaviour. dark types also tend to be EXTREMELY loyal and protectice when cared for correctly!

it makes me really mad and upset when its still commonly believed that absol cause disaster instead of warning people of them, that zoroark use their illusions to lure in and attack humans when usually their illusions tend to simply be used to scare off predators and hide their den and pups, and when A GOOD CHUNK of eevee and eeveelution dedicated organizations and groups still ban umbreon. progress absolutely has been made, especially thanks to gym leaders and e4 members using the type, and many used found for pokmon of these types being found in various competitive battle circles, making dark types much more destigmatized among some circles of trainers and certain towns and cities, but theres still a long way to go, especially when the word for the dark type in several regions is the evil type.

please remember that dark types are not inherently more dangerous than other types. a grooky is more likely to maul your child as a zorua

Eevee. we all know what eevee looks like. i mean i hope you would 'cause then why are you reading this...

from what i see, eevee is shaped similarly to a lot of younger animals, which makes some sense since its supposed to be the first of an evolution like, which tends to be more cutesy, like how puppies and kittens are. i'm getting a lot of rabbit from it? it has a large amount of neck fur, which could be seen as a dewlap, but maybe im just looking too far into it. dewlaps are common in domestic rabbits and are usually seen on females. they can come in different sizes, too. the large, fluffy tail on eevee can bee seen on cartoony depictions of rabbits sometimes, albeit much smaller. the long ears are also rabbit-like. it's sort of shaped like a small dog, too.

what i get from eevee is like.. a weird mix of a puppy and a rabbit.

umbreons are next! (i added this late because i misremembered the alphabet)

umbreons appear to be VERY similar to bombay cats. its body shape is very cat-like, but i pick up a hint of dog from it. specifically a doberman. it has a pointy-ish snout like how doberman dogs do.

NEXT! jolteon. who i've actually thought about the most out of these.

jolteons look a LOT like american bullies to me. not the ones who are bred to have wide shoulders, but the more nooormal looking ones? i dont know if thats the word im looking for. they have stubby snouts with wide mouths, and slightly broader shoulders than most of the eeveelutions. i think they also look to have slightly smaller eyes than the others. they have big paws too, which looks like a bully thing?

all i can see in jolteon is an american bully but thats okay

flareon has something in common with both eevee and jolteon.

flareon appears to have a HUMONGOUS dewlap, and the same broadish shoulders as jolteon does. It has the same big paws that jolteon does, and long ears like how eevee does. I can also see some fennec fox with how the face is shaped and how fluffy the tail and ears are.

flareon is a weird bully-rabbit-fox thing. and also seems to be who i'd pick as eevee's sole evolution if eevee only had one.

next up leafeon. i think our first cat!

leafeon's got a weird face. i'd compare it to those cats with flat faces, like persian cats, but leafeon has shorter fur. I think leafeon reminds me of those cats that have longer fur in some spots, especially on the chest to where it sticks out like a weird little moustache. the leaves on its legs remind me of feathers on horses. leafeon also has some fennec fox-like features, like head and ear shapes.

leafeon is primarily cat-like, but has a smidge of fox in there.

glafoen

glaceon feels more dog-like than leafeon did. it likely has something to do with stance. it kind of reminds me of a poodle in a weird way? honestly dont get me wrong glaceon's awesome but its kind of hard to work with.. its a little more. basic. than the other eeveelutions. i also think it wouldve been interesting to have the. side bangs. things. be the ears for glaceon.

the best i can give for glaceon is a mutt or a domestic shorthair.

sylveons are VERY clearly meant to be like a show animal. like, y'know how cosplay pikachu is supposed to be like used in performances 'n' stuff? thats what sylveons are but for eeveelutions. i can see a bit of chihuahua (or deer) in it because of the tail, and maybe a smidge of rabbit from the ears..

The legend (the fox-spirit like thing, he’s both that black fox spirit trapped inside an orb and the blue spirit)

The chaos (the giant red dragon who trapped the legend in first place)

Altera (the red fox, she’s the Final hope’s protagonist)

Explain time:

SVD (Sabichim VeDrakonim) has multiple stories, the first one introduced is SVD 1, with Fexen, this one is the Final hope, with Altera as protagonist, right now im starting to learn how to be a game developer (in a steam app named “001”, its more easier and less professional but still good, im trying to make it be a platform) and the first games im gonna make are the SVD games (but its gonna have different title, and some changes), so for now lets reveal some SVD lores, this one is the Final hope (as i said), this is based off a dream i had in a random night, i changed a lot of stuff, but here we are, the story is about a female fox named Altera, she is 6 yesrs old and a orphan, why? Cuz she killed her own parents, but not cuz she’s evil, cuz she was possessed, she was possessed by The legend (who was first referred as “Blue” due to her knowing nothing about him), who was also possessed by The chaos (the main villain), who used the Legend as the key to control Altera (there was a prophecy that said Altera is gonna defeat him, so he wanted to prevent it), one day, Altera was sent to a school, kinda like hogwarts from harry poter but they learn how to self defend, some basic knowledge, and all that, there she met Ryker and his group, Ryker was the school’s bully, he mocked Altera for being too quiet, then Umbreon (theres pokemon in this continent) came and defended her, the legends (possessed) told her “i know you want to, go on, do a crime” and made her beat Ryker up, Umbreon then let her join his group (which was all the eeveelutions, non-shinies, only Sylveon was shiny and she’s the only nicknamed one, Sylve), Flareon comes back with an eevee egg which hatches into the tiny but brave eevee, Maltero, then one day. Ryker and his group gets possessed too (but directly by the Chaos) and they attack people there mainly targeting the group, Ms.Bite (the teacher) throws the, a map and tell them to go to the mountain of death (where the Chaos lies) and go to defeat him, then the journey begins!

The 3rd member of my teal mask teal dlc team is also the 10th shiny of the game!

Since I have not gone online to update area news, I still have the eevee outbreaks. I was doing these outbreaks for lvl grinding when suddenly, a while fox appeared!

As you can see above, I chose to make this eevee an umbreon. Im not sure if I will be using any more eeveelutions. That depends on how many more shinies I find, lol.

My next hunt for the dlc team will be a shiny applin that will become dipplin, which I will be madusa method breeding for.

ALSO sylveon is a super fun pokemon!!!!!!!!!!!its a rlly affectionate and even clingy pokemon which is fine with me bc im the same i get it LOL basically an eevee thats rlly bonded with its trainer can evolve into a sylveon and upon evolving it becomes even MORE attached so.its a pokemon that requires a lot of commitment for sure!!but if u can meet their need for love and attention then u will definitely have a loyal, loving, powerful partner by ur side ^_^

tbh there are probably more things i cant remember rn, but those are the ones i can think of off the top of my head (im also still relatively new to our system so there might be some i cant remember for that reason)

now, about fnaf. our introduction to fnaf was matpats old ass theory videos on it (like, the og very first fnaf videos he ever made on the first game). that was in i think 7th grade (aka a long ass time ago LMAO) and it was one of our old friends who introduced us to the videos. before then, the only fnaf exposure we had was some girls in our elementary school class playing one of the games when we went on a field trip to a computer cafe. matpats vids made us really interested in the story, so we looked into all of the games that were out at that point to come to our own conclusions on it, as one does

Had a convo with a mutual a bit ago about potential eeveelutions and I actually got attached to one I came up with in like 15 seconds, so Im putting it on blast.

"Normal would be so easy to explain too. Use an item called a "stabilizer". Eevee is known for its unstable DNA which lets it evo into a bunch of things when influenced by thw radiation from certain stones, canonically. So if you stabilize its dna, its no longer an eevee but it should still be normal type. Behold, an uh..... fluffeon? It has Fur Coat!"
