How'd  he  let  himself  get  into  such  a  stupid  situation  again ?  Thats  right.  He  agreed  to  come  to  this  stupid  get-together,  a  get-together  with  Sonic  and  his  friends.  So  far,  the  others  haven't  bothered  him  too  much,  but  Sonic ?  You  could  count  on  the  blue  blur  to  be  a  pain  in  the  neck.  The  thing  sitting  before  him  is  a  "super  loaded  chili-cheese-dog",  and  he's  looking  at  it  with  deep-seated  scrutiny,  his  expression  shifting  to  annoyance  as  his  attention  moves  back  to  the  blue  hedgehog  who  has  served  it  to  him.

Shadow  wasn't  exactly  "new"  to  food  on  earth.  But  he  wasn't  exactly  what  you'd  call  an  adventurous  eater,  either,  so  this  "delicacy"  was  new  to  him,  apparently  in  a  way  he  wasn't  sure  he  wished  to  get  to  know.  It  was,  of  course,  the  sloppy  presentation  of  the  dish.  Sure,  he  enjoyed  pizza  and  hot  pockets,  but  the  toppings  on  a  pizza  were  an  organized  chaos.  This...  This  thing  was....  A  sloppy  mess.
