Emi escaped from the vault and lives with her brother while he's sidekicking for All Might so she gets acquainted with Toshi through him (much to AfO's chagrin cause it's not enough Toshi 'stole' his son, he's got to have his daughter too?). Then the estrangement happens, so Emi and Toshi don't have the opportunity to talk much but still regard each other fondly. Emi still visits her bro's agency though and has officially declared Mirio her new baby brother

The mental image of both Aizawa and All Might avoiding the siblings like the plague, while still trying to support their students, is making me crack up. That said, Aizawa would and has thrown Toshi under the bus in order to escape.

Mirio on the other hand loves them both and is spoiled between the two lol
