finished my second mini! one of the mtg kaldheim shapeshifters. thought these dudes had a really fun design that would be cool to paint :) went for blues and purples, the wood also has a light metallic gold highlight to it so it shimmers a bit

i really need to clean the base up but apart from that im really happy with how it came out, especially for my second ever mini :D ive got the other winged shapeshifter to paint next which oughta be a fun challenge

#arts and/or crafts #mini painting #im not aiming for any level of art accuracy when I paint these btw im just picking what colours I think would be fun and look good #aethermatic blue is my favourite paint i think. its one of the contrasts ive got and its sooo pretty i used it for the Orb here #i REALLY need more paints though ive only got about 12. i dont even have a black... its def what im missing the most right now #(for ref i just have one of the army painter speedpaint sets that was a gift from a friend and a couple contrasts + metallics i picked up)#on god they werent kidding this shit will Get you. ive painted exactly two guys and i want to spend my entire paycheck on paints
