i enjoy the zara-illario situationship being a ploy on illario's side because it allows ME to give him a little more depth/characterisation outside of 'jealous idiot who didn't plan things through'. like for the sake of the image i have built up of him all by myself in my mind he has got to be at least a little competent, regardless of how vg dialogue treats him LOL. skilled enough to start this shit but too rash to finish it properly
