A very quick fix-it sketch over a screenshot of General Shao from MK1. I had to give him a little monsterification makeover because I think an Outworld general should be menacing and not Hulk MCU with horns.

Things I changed and added: - Made his face color to match the rest of his skin. Originally he looks like a Teletubby in a scale costume - Added more spikes and scales on his head. The longer the head-spikes are, the darker they are - Reduced the size of his horns and ears a little bit - Gave him more prominent teeth and bigger fangs. His lips aren't as prominent anymore - Changed his nose shape to be more flat - Added light-color spikes on his chin and jawline, both to replicate facial hair and give him a more unique silhouette - Regarding facial hair, I completely removed his eyebrows and replaced them with similar spikes - Made his sclera dark to make his irises pop out more - Added a few scars on his face. I find it hard to believe that an Outworld general who has had a tough upbringing survived this long without a scratch

I was aiming for a more monstrous look since they decided to make Shao more dragonic in MK1 yet they made him look more human than in MK11. I'm sorry but I'm not buying the whole Outworld general deal he has going on looking like that. He looks too tame and normal, he lacks the fierceness and aggressiveness of previous Shao iterations...
