ctubbo being an ianitee is sooooooo important to me. especially if he doesn't Exactly remember his father or his upbringing, but keeps the few traditions he remembers in order to feel a connection despite the distance. he doesn't know who he's praying to, but he knows they're important. he doesn't know who he's praying to, but he knows they're watching over him. it drives me absolutely insane esp considering that's how jordan once was, too, having no proof of ianite's existence yet continuing to believe in her anyway. something about characters mirroring each other without even knowing there's a mirror there in the first place. effervescent
