Thinking of writing and posting my first fic but am very nervous it would go badly.
Its a long academic style ramble about what beauty means to the beleriand noldor and how they conceptualise art and love and intimacy through the lens of an unknown artist and subject of a set of erotic paintings as well as trying to uncover who exactly they are.
It also goes into the biases of the noldor who never left valinor and the assumptions they make about the paintings based on that.
Also the author is having a sexuality crisis throughout.
Ijdk if that would actually be interesting to anyone.
