this is the kind of question I always, foolishly, unrealistically, ask in December when I have delusions of time for it, but: Sims people. If I, who last played Sims 3 and stuck to it like a curmudgeon as 4 came out, wanted to have a good time, should I steal 3 or 4?

#iirc I curmudgeoned because I like 3's synced timelines #but for playing just a few weeks a year I don't think I gaf anymore #4 also ditched the open world right? but that is fine #and 4 had dumb emotion stuff but I assume there are mods?#incidentally if 4 is the right answer is there also a fix-it-all mod now?#eta: oh my god I forgot they nixed toddlers #that may do it #eta2: oh but it seems they brought toddlers back... but consensus still seems to be TS3 is an actual game #so
