30 Day Dragon Share Challenge-
Day 4. Share Your Favourite Arcane Dragons (left-right, top-bottom)
-
➢ Nytana- The Empire’s Arcane Ambassador. He’s on the young end but he is highly intelligent, and his family had trained and raised him for the possibility to be an ambassador one day. He’s not exactly the best at things such as social interaction, but he has proven to be good at things such as debates and not looking awkward. He’s very curious when it comes to things and sometimes he has to restrain himself from touching everything. He’s not seen during the day usually, for he is more nocturnal, not to mention that he loves stars. Has a slight irritable streak which only shows when he’s woken up early or he’s bothered in the middle of being fascinated in something.
➢ Riddle- Riddle and his twin sister, Que, are a pair who work under the Spymaster, Kronos, doing spy work among other things. This makes it so they leave the Empire a fair amount to do things elsewhere. A lot of what they both do are dangerous and have left both the Skydancers with quite a few scars over time due to sustained injuries. Riddle is the slightly younger of the two, and also the one a bit more adept at things relating to stealth. He’s still the less confident of them, but over the years, he has slowly gained confidence over time, and this makes it so he hardly hesitates anymore. He’s not a big fan of fire though; he avoids certain areas of the Empire so he doesn’t encounter it too often. Unbeknownst to most, he has a goal of wanting to be remembered, hoping to leave a “mark” before he goes for good.
➢ Nadja- One of the Empire’s council members, and also a child of the Arcanist. She is fairly old, though not quite as old as the oldest members. Her magic is powerful, thanks to her being one of the first Primals. Unbeknownst to most, she is also Tainted, in fact, she’s more along the lines of possessed. But it’s been years since the event happened, where she had asked for a way for the being to not keep tormenting her people, and thus, they have grown to work together. She’s quiet for the most part, though she is also known for speaking her mind without holding back at times. Tends to keep her eyes covered most of the time, due to how sensitive they really are.
➢ Iestyn- No one knows where she came from or why she has chosen the Empire for her home. Her past seems to be a mystery for most, if not all, and she refuses to speak a word about it. She is cold and blunt, and her fighting skills have earned her a higher spot in the military. So far she seems to have not been interested in getting close to anyone, and she’s intimidating enough that most don’t want to approach her, but it’s also not rare to see her hanging out with Cudris and Velir, a couple of higher ranked ice dragons.
➢ Vykos- One of the guards assigned to a noble for protection. Vykos is fierce and doesn’t seem to know when to back down unless the situation is obviously out of hand. He has a strong bloodline and strong magic, and is definitely too curious for his own good. Even after what he has gone through, which shows in his dark sclera and the dark scars marring one side of his face, neck, and shoulder, he still pokes around too much. His method of fighting is an interesting type; instead of using a blade, he uses crystals formed out of his own magic to fight.
➢ Eclipse- A royal guard with obvious strong and noble bloodlines, though he’s a bit unwilling to talk about anything involving his origins. He hardly ever smiles, being a more serious individual, even when others occasionally poke at him to see if they can get it to happen. Over the time he’s worked at the Empire though, he’s opened up a little, though he still is not very trusting. Wields a magical blade that glows a faint pink when unsheathed and he has quite a few piercings.
➢ Brehar- The dragon assigned to guard the young wind dragon, Kaluk. He has his work cut out for him, since Kaluk is often targeted for one reason or another. He does indeed have multi-gaze, but he’s very self-conscious about it for his parents, a pair who had only moved to the Arcane territory a year before he was conceived, had rejected him upon seeing the extra eyes marking his body. He’s well aware why they didn’t want him, having been told once he was “old enough”. Self-conscious enough to keep most of them out of sight, but he has also seen the usefulness of them, so he tries to keep at least a couple visible to help him perform his duties. He’s grown quite attached to Kaluk, and enjoys spending time with him.
➢ Ghoul- Someone who works at the largest cafe in the Empire. He’s irritable and barely manages to restrain his temper when it comes to some of the customers. He doesn’t seem to have much interest in interacting with the customers either, just taking their orders and going on his way. Not many have seen him smile. He adores cats and has a small group of his own, including a Velvet Floracat kitten named Abyss due to her colouration. He also writes poetry in his free time and has three mates, including a friend he made in his childhood, a Skydancer named Athr.
