im like desperately chasing the golden goose of SuperWhoLock-level fandom but without children in it and im being forced to realize that that just isnt possible. teenagers run the internet and im past my fandom prime

#absolutely devastatinf news. but yall know how it is #watch your feet #like fandoms full of adults arent big and fandoms that are big are full of children and like #obviously that's fine that's not a Value Judgement it just makes me :( sigh #ig there's like. i should ig curate my own adult fandom experience instead of being grumpy the mainstream spaces #dont cater to me. like obvs thats what i should do. seek out and participate in comminity #community* but im shy :( glshshdn i don't talk to ppl ive beeb mutuals w for Years im not gonna start talking to strangers!!#so yeah idk i guess what i mean is i just wish i had more fandom adjacent friends #but making friends is impossible so ig i'll die
