he teases you so much at first but when he realizes you're serious he's a bit reluctant

it's not like he doesn't want to have a kid with you, but he doesn't get to spend much time with you as it is. the kid would only make things more complicated // also doesn't think he's ready for such a responsibility

if he agrees I feel like he'd be more excited about the process of making the baby than the baby itself

Your partner didn't have many free days, but when he finally got one he always spent it with you. Fancy dinners, coffee shop dates, simple hangouts at home you name it; Jōno didn't care what you did as long as you were together. He adored your high spirits and was so smitten with you that only hearing the fast thumping of your heart when he hugged you made him forget all his worries.

But recently he started noticing a strange change in your behaviour: whenever you passed by a crying baby your breath would hitch. Jono didn't pay much attention to this since he assumed that you were simply annoyed by those little creatures. Well, that was until you popped the question.

"Hey Sai, I want to have a baby" you said one day. You were both laying on the cushioned couch in your shared apartment, your head nestled against his chest.

"What's that?" he asked, raising a brow in confusion.

"I said I want to have a baby"

"What like buy one? Why not get a kitten instead?" he teased. Jono's grin slowly began to fade when he saw the serious look on your face.

"I'm not joking, Sai. We've been together for such a long time and I'd like us to have a kid. What do you say?"

Your partner shrugged, gently peeling you off of him. "I mean, if you really want to... To me it sounds like a bother."

"What do you mean by that?" you cried out in dismay, clearly not expecting this reaction from him.

The knot in Jono's chest tightened at the sound of your shaky voice. The last thing he wanted was to upset you. It's not like he didn't want to start a family with you, he just wished he could have you all to himself on his free days.

"Well" he began in the most soothing voice possible "I guess I don't want us to lose what we have now. I enjoy how peaceful our home is and having a baby will just stir things up and to be frank, work is already chaotic enough. I don't think I could handle being a dad too."

His confession made your heart melt, all the tension built between the two of you dissipating in a matter of seconds.

"Oh Sai." you sighed, one of your hands sliding up to cup his cheek "I know that a kid will change things, but no matter what we'll still love eachother. As long as we're together I promise, we got this. And of course we can wait a few more years if you're not ready. I just want you to be happy, my love"

Now it was Jono's turn to be emotional. He gently removed your hands from his face and gave them a little squeez.

"Thanks dear. I know it'll be alright, but I'd like to wait a few more months at least, ok?"

"Sure" you smiled reassuringly "But who knew that the strongest Hunting Dog would be scared of fatherhood." You laughed at your own remark, gaining a mischevious grin from your partner.

"Quit teasing, darling. Or we may end up having that kid sooner than planned" he said, giving you a wink.

𝑻𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂

he's surprised to say the least but also thrilled

you're the one for him and he definitely wants to have a baby with you, but he can't help but worry

the loss of his brother still affects him and he cannot help but wonder if he'll be able to protect the two of you; after all, if the Mafia finds out he's just a spy, who knows what they'll do...

long story short he worries a lot but after you talk things out and reassure him, he'll agree

he'd literally be the most caring dad ever, always taking your kid to the zoo or to ride the ferris wheel♡

"Honey, I'm home" said your boyfriend as he entered your condo.

When you heard his voice you immediately abandoned the book you were reading and rushed to the hallway; and there he was, standing in front of the door with a bouchet of light pink hyacinths in his hands. Not caring about the flowers you jumped in his arms, embracing him tightly and he eagerly returned a hug.

"I missed you so much Michi" you cooed, showering him with saccherine kisses.

"Hey, enough love" he chuckled as he gently pulled you away "How have you been? I hope my pretty girl had a great day."

"Yes I did, work was great but honestly I was so excited that you'd come home tonight."

"Me too, princess" he said as he untied his shoes and took off his crimson cape. Your boyfriend hasn't been around that much since he infiltrated the Port Mafia. He knew the job was risky and in the event he got caught, it would be best if the mafiosi didn't know about your existence; they would surely hurt you as a way of punishing him. So Tachihara had bought a second apartment where he lived during these interventions. He only came home when he was working with the Hunting Dogs.

"Sooo honey I was wondering if we could talk about something tonight." you inquired, toying with a stray strand hair.

"Of course we can. Did something happen?"

"Oh no nothing. I just had a question for you."

Your boyfriend took a step forward and seized your hips, pulling you closer to him. "Alright then tell me. What is this all about?"

"Ok so" you began, trying your best to hide the slight blush that was spreading on your cheeks "I wanted to ask you if you'd like to have a baby with me."

Tachihara's face dropped when he heard your proposal. For a second you thought he was upset about your idea, but before you could apologize the lovesick smile returned to his lips "I uh well I don't know what to say about that" he stuttered, trying to avoid meeting your gaze.

"I mean it would be amazing. I'd love to start a family with you" he continued as he scratched the back of his head. "But don't you think we're a bit too young for that?"

"Oh not now Michi. We can wait a few more years but we should start saving up for a crib and all that, you know? Baby stuff are quite expensive"

"Yea, I guess you're right" he said before going silent, a shadow of doubt clouding his eyes.

"What is it, love?" you eventually asked him.

"It may sound a bit silly but do you think I'm fit for being a dad?"

You quickly took a step back "What do you mean by that? Of course you'd be a great dad". But your words didn't reassure him too much. You could tell there were things still left unsaid so you asked him to take a seat on the couch while you made some tea for the two of you.

A few minuted later you joined your partner on your sofa, two cups of steaming orange tea in your hands.

"Ok now tell me, Michi. What's bothering you?"

He took your hands in his, his amber eyes fixated on the bamboo floor and after taking a deep breath he started talking:

"I've always regretted not being able to save my brother. If only I had been a few years older I could've joined him in the army and maybe things would've been different. I guess I'm just worried about having a kid. What if something happens and I'm not there to protect you two?"

It hurt to hear him say such things; he sounded so defeated. You gently placed your index finger under his chin, forcing him to meet your gaze. "Don't worry about that dear." you said in your softest voice "It's all going to be fine. We can have the kid after you finish your undercover mission. Plus, not only will our kid have an awesome dad, bur also a badass mom. I can kick ass too, never forget that."

Tachihara chuckled at your words "I know love, you're truly amazing. Thanks for listening to me, it means a lot."

"No problem, love"

He swiftly wrapped his arms around you, resting his head on your chest as you playfully ruffled his hair. Now that things were sorted out he could finally relax in the comfort of your embrace; his eyelids were getting heavier and he felt as if he was under a spell.

"I love you, Michi" you chanted, your voice lulling him to sleep.

He only mumbled in response, placing a tender kiss on your neck. "Love you too, sugar"

𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒖

so yea he doesn't oppose to the idea, he's actually quite excited about it. He already he's going to spend the rest of his life with you so why not start a family?

You would often joke with your boyfriend about how you wanted him to give you his babies. And how could you not? He looked so attractive doing literally anything that you couldn't help yourself. You loved how caring and innocent he was, how he'd always make you dinner on weekends (actually refraining from trying any strange combinations) and plan the nicest dates; he was always there when you needed a shoulder to cry on and was eternally devoted to you. His looks were just a bonus.

But when you saw him buying an ice cream for the neighbour's kid one summer morning, you realized that you may actually want to have a kid with him.

"Say, darling, can I ask you something?" you inquired as he stepped foot in your apartment. He had just finished running and glistening beads of sweat were sticking to the tips of his hair.

"Yes, my love. What is it?"

"You know how I always ask you to give me your babies?"

"Ah yes" he chuckled, taking a sip of water from his hydro flask "You say that quite a lot"

"Yea well I think I'd actually like to start a family with you" you said coyly, flashing him your most alluring smile.

Your boyfriend, who was getting ready to drink some more water, stopped dead in his tracks. He suddenly placed the steel container on the countertop and made his way to you, holding your hands as your eyes met.

"My love, I would be honoured to be the father of your child and start a family with you. I swear on my sword that I will be a devoted husband and I will protect our child with my life."

He had such a serious expression that you couldn't contain your laughter.

"Oh Hiro you're something else, did you know that?" you teased, hoping to get a reaction out of him. But you boyfriend simply stood there holding your hands, his lips pressed in a tight line.

"I'm serious, Y/N. I know you're the only woman I'll ever love, my heart is yours. I do want to have a baby with you."

His gaze was so intense you felt your knees wobble. You opened your mouth, fumbling for words when he quickly captured your lips in a tender kiss. It felt so much more intimate than any other kiss you'd shared before.

"Did you really mean what you said?" you asked once he pulled away, his face still inches from yours.

Tecchou nodded, his eyes glimmering with adoration. "Of course."

"Well then it's settled, we'll have a kid. Let's get to it" you announced triumphantly as you began dragging him towards the bedroom. Your boyfriend tried to protest but the grip you had on his arm was unshakeable.

"But I want to marry you first." he whined, making you cease your motion. "Y/N will you be my wife?"

He spoke the words so tenderly, almost as if they were made of gold leaf. Needless to say you said yes; you've been a couple for more than four years now and you were ready to start this new chapter of your life together.

Then pulled him into a passionate kiss and he took the hint; swiftly picking you up he made his way to your bedroom, closing the door behind.

OK HI I'm BACk what ABOUT JOUNO AND TECCHOU WITH AN S/O WHO HAS ADHD LIKE ZONING OUT AND RANDOM STUFF like spontaneous noises, not sitting still, ZONING OUT, low attention span, etc. I MEANT TO WRITE THIS IN ALL CAps BUT I DIDNT. HAVE AGOOD DAY.

Before we start this, I do not have ADHD or at least we don't think I have.

Therefore I cannot say I fully understand ADHD, but I will try. (Like, I understand, but not to the fullest extent)

Also did these in the form of headcannons if that's good? Bulletpointed.

Jouno

• So, Jouno... appreciates you.

• He doesn't always understand, but even he gets that enthusiasm is needed in life sometimes - even if it's not technically enthusiasm.

• He won't notice if you start zoning out. He can't see you.

• But he does realise when you stopped making noise.

• Your voice is distracting and almost constant. You say almost anything and everything with little to no filter.

• But he likes your voice a hell of a lot more than the voices of... certain people.

• Jouno can't keep up.

• That's just it. He can't keep up.

• He can learn to understand what your saying, where you're coming from, your personality and behaviours, but that doesn't mean he has the energy to keep up.

• Still, your entertaining to him, he likes you, a lot. So he keeps his ear out for you.

• You rarely stay in one place for too long, buttt your also clumsy. Make a lot of simple, not super dangerous but occasionally concerning mistakes.

• Jouno, with ALL his love for you, thinks you need to be wrapped up in bubble wrap.

• It's for your own safety!

• ...he may or may not try it.

• But, in all seriousness. He does love every bit of you he has come to know. And coming to the rescue every now and then makes him feel like you really need him. (Not that he has issues with this, just saying that I think he'd like it if his s/o relied on him)

• He just wishes there weren't so many unfinished passion projects lying around.

• But he'll get over it because he loves you ♡

Tecchou

• Tecchou probably understands somewhat.

• You two have an almost perfect relationship.

• When he's not working Tecchou is practically attached to your hip.

• Which means you fall victim to his "cooking" often.

• And your always willing to try whatever he comes up with. Mostly that's because you haven't been paying much attention to what he's been putting in, your only indication that something is up is the fact that everything is the same colour.

• But you trust he won't poison you, so you take a spoonfull.

• You tell him it was nice, when really it wasn't, and remind yourself not to accept food from him again.

• You soon forget about it when the next meal comes around.

• "Sometimes I forget that your cooking is a biohazard..."

"...what?"

• Sometimes the two of you sit together doing nothing.

• It's nice. You were just sat on the chair, comfortable, away somewhere within your own head.

• He spotted you, and thought that you looked cute being so deep in thought that you had no real awareness of your surroundings.

• So, with the 'protection' excuse tucked away up his sleeve, he sat beside you and waited.

• Only to then find himself lost in thought with you.

• He can't help it! Being in such a calm, relaxing atmosphere with you - the ultimate comfort to him, he can't help but loose himself in the moment with you.

• What brings him back is when you start moving. A slight shake of the leg. Constant tap tap tapping, your knee bouncing up and down.

• You clearly got bored of wherever you were a bit ago, and had decided to stay with him, even though he could see you wanted to go and do something else.

• That's adorable - You trying so hard.

• Makes him want to try harder too.

• Oh! Perhaps you could cook with him!

• It will end in disaster. That's just a given. Doesn't matter if your a good cook or a bad cook there will be conflict.

• Nothing serious, and it causes no real issue, just a lot of mess that some poor soul is going to have to clean up later.

• He's so insistent on his way of "cooking" that he won't listen to you.

• And your so stubborn in 'trying something new' (aka following an actual recepie) that you both end up childishly fighting over the bowl.

• It's not serious, and neither of you are actually shouting, but a few bowls and ingredients fall over, and you do run around a lot.

• At least Jouno knows not to go in there - lest he face whatever mess the two of you plan on proudly presenting to him. He doesn't want it.

• So... your relationship isn't perfect, but it's almost there.

• You try and understand eachother, and you stick together.

harasses his partner

harasses his mf FOOD

by this, I mean he sends things back, not bc he isn't satisfied but bc he can

ESPECIALLY if his partner is on their shift, he'll be extra nasty

"what can I get you today, Jouno?"

"an iced coffee, with specifically 5 cubes of ice 2cm by 2cm, 1 pack sweetener, a drizzle of chocolate and 25ml of 3% milk and, oh, do you have chocolate sprinkles? yeah, I want some of that on top, add some whipped cream too and-"

orders the longest thing and then sends it back because "there were incomplete sprinkles" while staring down the barista with a huge grin

his partner is literally on the verge of breaking up with him for this

however, sometimes he gets bored of toying with them and just orders a coffee

he likes to observe people

it's kinda creepy but he'll pick a seat in the corner and listen as his partner writes down orders and smiles at other people, and then gets somewhat internally offended when they laugh at the random customer's dumb jokes

he narrows his eyes (even more, if that's possible?) at them at wonders why he doesn't make them laugh as loudly as that

takes it as a challenge

now you've got a clingy af jouno who sticks around the desk and seduces his way into the kitchen by flirting with the manager (his partner's boss)

his partner wants to YELL at him that they have to work, but he just places his hands on their hips and kisses their forehead and gives them the slightest hug and tells them how much he loves them, so their partner reluctantly tolerates his presence around their work

he may not know how to cook but he smells every single ingredient and is a surprisingly fast learner so the manager is lowkey trying to recruit him bc of his undeniable talent 👹

overall, he does help in the end, but his partner has to put up with a lot of teasing and nastiness. occasional jokes and cute little pranks where jouno would place a heavily powdered donut under their nose to make them sneeze and eventually messing up the ENTIRE place

but damn, those perfect milkshakes he made are worth it all

tecchou suehiro

he is easily distracted

asks his partner all sorts of things

"hey, how do they make coffee?"

"well, you put the beans in the machine-"

"beans???"

"yes??? coffee beans???"

"coffee???comes???from??beans???"

"yes, tecch, it does u adorable idiot 🙄"

"does that mean you can make coffee out of the beans they put in burritos and stuff?"

"no- wait I don't think so- actually, maybe-"

other customers overhear the discussion and chip in and the entire thing escalates to the WEIRDEST topics

the manager is pretty impartial as to his presence, given that he doesn't disturb anyone and usually just orders and silently observes his partner with a faint smile on his lips

his partner turns, notices his gaze and bites the inside of their cheek to prevent themselves from blushing/grinning at him, then get back to work

they do, however, like to blow him little kisses while on their shift, or to leave a small note on Tecchou's orders like "ily <3" or "you're so cute 💕"

he is a gentleman omg

he once spent the entire time his partner was on their shift holding the door for the people who entered

gets asked if he works there, and he automatically replies yes and helps everyone with their stuff, whether it's a broken glass or spill or if they need sweetener in their drink

nvm the manager now loves him

he makes it a point to visit his s/o as often as possible when they're working, even if they live together or have a date planned for later that day. he might not say much, but he loves to be in their presence as often as possible

a literal GOD at taking care of angry customers

whereas jouno would probably subtly threaten them, Tecchou is just gonna walk up to their face and be rly straight-forward about it

"sir, what's your problem?"

"I placed my order for coffee, a SINGLE COFFEE OVER HALF AN HOUR AGO AND I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT??? THIS SERVICE IS TERRIBLE-"

"sir, just take a breath. the employee over here is going to make it for you right away, and free of charge, right?"

ofc, they'd nod and do as he said bc the person is no longer fuming

the biggest issue with having tecchou in the café is his orders

he asks for the oddest things, including, but not limited to, sugar on rice and a hard-boiled egg with the shell still on

his partner makes sure to explain to their boss that this isn't anything abnormal for him, and that they'll make sure to take care of the order themselves

after all, putting together a weird food combo in order to get a chubby-cheeked tecchou stuffing his face with sugary rice is very worthwhile

teruko okura (aged up?? ig??? bc children running around a café is odd i think?? wtf is her real age-)

she is NOT made to be in a café with a serene vibe

no bc she picks up fights with everyone who breathes

"hey, idiot, stop breathing so loudly or else i'll come over there and shut you up myself-"

her partner thus keeps a stall in the very corner specifically for her that's far away from the other people 😐

teruko loves sugary and spicy flavors all in one, like a strong cinnamon or ginger, any type of warm drink that smells strongly rly

her partner does that mystical thing with the milk that creates a heart on the surface of the drink that looks so cute

teruko chugs down the drink without even looking at it 💀

she isn't one for those kinds of gestures, and would much rather physically cling to her partner's side instead

sneaks up from under the counter and then pops up like a weasel with a HUGE smile on her face, the kind of cute smile that is like, showing all of her teeth and SUPER contagious and makes you wanna pat her on the head and hug her

the manager DOES NOT agree with this tho and kicks her out repeatedly. teruko is so close to snapping the manager's neck but her partner intervenes and reminds her that they still need their job

the entire café, teruko concludes, is against her

the powdered sugar gets thrown into her face by an unknown force

salt gets dumped on her hair

she slips on a puddle in the corner

the milkshake machine explodes in her face

it's just NOT her scene

that is the last time she visited her partner while at work, telling them that she's going to be waiting outside once their shift is over bc the pain is NOT worth it

fukuchi ochi

fukuchi barely has time to spend with his s/o, given how much of a busy man he is

so, he'll support them by financing the café itself and making sure they get high-quality ingredients and that the working conditions are acceptable

he does make it a point to ONLY get his coffee from there, tho, but doesn't use it as an excuse to talk to his partner. he's in he gets the coffee, then he's out

for this reason, his partner - who is not an idiot and needs human affection just like the rest of the planet - "suddenly and mysteriously" becomes a klutz

"accidentally" drops the coffee on him as they're serving his order, which leads him to freak out, and then rush to the bathroom to wash it off

apologizing profusely, his partner will follow him to the bathroom and help him out, using this as an opportunity to 1) get him to take off his shirt 😌 2) talk to him

this happens for about 3 weeks before his dense ass realizes that they just want some love

tries this out, showing up and ordering his usual coffee, and then asks them how their day has been

they BEAM at him, and gush about the tiniest things

he won't admit to himself that he loves seeing them so happy like that and that it makes his heart flutter a bit, instead telling himself the next time he stays that he's doing it "out of convenience" or some bs like that

eventually finds himself spending hours in the café just talking to his partner about random things, whether that is during their break or while the s/o is supposed to be working

the manager doesn't have the balls to tell him that they're supposed to be working bc fukuchi supplies like half the financial funds for the place 😍

he might start to be showing up late to hunting dogs' meetings for the next while, but spending the time with his partner has been shown to be more than worth.

tachihara michizou

It's very likely that the café is the place he met his partner, or at least has some kind of emotional value to him

either it's where they first asked him out (bc there's no way he'd make the first move) or maybe he was caught in the rain and his future partner, walking out of the café while holding an umbrella, offered it to him with a bright smile

for this reason, he likes to meet them here as much as possible

HOWEVER, there's an issue with dating tachihara, a big one at that

mid-way through the relationship, he had to go undercover and work for the mafia

since his partner had met him and knew only of his work as being "dangerous" and "top-secret", they understood a bit when he said that he had to go on a business trip of sorts and things would get complicated

tachihara lowkey went into a full-on breakdown bc he had never been loved like that before and felt sick at the idea of leaving, but his partner assured him that they'll be waiting for the day he comes back, and held him in their arms for the entire night, murmuring sweet nothings into his ear and gently kissing his forehead

eventually, he did have to leave. in the beginning, he teared up every night while in the port mafia thinking of his love

so, once he got the mafia's trust and moved along in the ranks, he got more freedom to move around and stuff. eventually, he got so heartsick he found himself subconsciously wandering right in front of the café out of habit

before he could snap out of his trance and get tf out of there, his partner noticed him and pulled him into the tightest hug in existence while sobbing their heart out

tachihara couldn't imagine the pain of saying goodbye for good again

so, he made it a rule to come and visit them on his shifts as often as possible, discreetly for their safety

they a b a n d o n their job and run over to hug him every single time he appears bc they never know if it'll be the last time they'll see him

the manager doesn't really follow the story, but tachihara's partner is one of the harder workers in the café, and the café itself isn't that popular anyways, so there's no point in yelling at them

tachihara isn't picky about what food he eats or what drinks he sips, so long as he gets to hear his partner's voice and be near them (I strongly hc that he has attachment issues)

he orders hot chocolate, even in the summer, and still hasn't shaken off that child-like tendency of chugging it down aggressively and ending up with a chocolate milk mustache, which his partner teases him about every single time

one time, he wasn't vigilant enough and gin - who was supposed to deliver a message from the boss about one thing or another - followed tachihara all the way to the café

saw tachihara kissing some stranger 👩‍🦯👩‍🦯👩‍🦯

she walked up to him, and his eyes went WIDE. his partner didn't recognize gin for obvious reasons, and thus got embarrassed, climbed off of tachihara and stood back at the counter, and asked her what her order was, since technically the shop was still operating

gin was confused af

she creased her brows at them, shook her head then turned towards tachihara

oh boy tachihara is screwed

at first, his partner thought he'd been cheating on them or something, then thought about it twice and realized that he wasn't the type to cheat on people. so they (not-so-)gently shoved gin out of the way and told tachihara that they "needed a smoke", a codeword for "outside. now. we need to talk"

he told gin that he'd received the message, and to tell the boss that he'll deal with it tomorrow, and then the mafiosa went on her way.

his s/o demanded an explanation as to who tf that was, and tachihara reluctantly explained that it was someone he worked with

eventually, things were sorted out and no harm was done. tachihara made gin swear she wouldn't tell anyone about his dating situation, and like the frikkin amazing person she is, she agreed.

even though he slipped up that time, he couldn't stop himself from heading back to the café and meeting up with his partner as often as possible

in the end, the risk was clearly worth it

Chuuya

it concerns him ngl

understands that it's a normal thing that everyone does but...you do it SO OFTEN

wonders if it's a health condition, but you inform him that it's not and you're simply just spacey

whenever he notices you staring off at nothing, he'll wave a hand in front of ur face and ask if you're ok

it scares him sometimes because he'll approach you and you'll just be ominously staring at something over his shoulder 😟

mf turns around SO FAST thinking there's an intruder behind him but...it's just a wall

if you happen to zone out in public, chuuya will give your hand a gentle tug to snap you out of it

will softly ask if you need to sit down or want some water while you reassure him that you're fine

worries that it might happen to you during a dangerous situation and put your life at risk

you have to explain that it only really happens when you're calm or relaxed, and only then does he start to associate it with you being in a more positive mood

Tecchou

honestly?

he's not phased by it lol

this is a man who watched an ant colony for eight hours so...he's pretty used to the concept of getting tunnel vision & focusing on something for awhile

tends to assume that's what you're doing whenever you zone out

will sit in silence with you while you stare at some random object across the room

jouno has definitely walked in during one of these times and asked if you guys were practicing some weird ritual 🧍🏻‍♀️

tecchou won't try to make you snap out of it or anything since he thinks you're "focusing"

...it's ok for him to be clueless since he's so cute

he is so patient about it too 🥺

will sit next to you and wait quietly for however long you may need to come back to reality

slips his hand into yours & might even rest his head against your shoulder depending on how long it takes

sometimes tecchou might even look around the room to find the thing that you’re staring at so he can focus on it too 😭

Dazai

he’s no stranger to disassociating, as we all know

there’s been many occasions when the both of you have zoned out at the same time

it scares the rest of the ADA because of how uncannily quiet it becomes 🤨

dazai finds it absolutely adorable whenever you space out

“that spot on the wall you’re staring at sure is interesting, huh…☺️”

will watch you with a smile for a few seconds before gently tapping you on the shoulder so you come back to attention

says something along the lines of “you there, darling?” to check if you’re okay

he doesn’t ask you too many questions about it since he understands how it feels

definitely will tease you if you zone out during a meeting or something and miss important information

you’ll ask him “what’d i miss?” and he’ll give a whole speech on how it’s confidential and he can’t tell you now since you didn’t bother to pay attention 🙄

(little did you know, you didn’t even miss anything to begin with...)

all teasing aside, he will get the slightest bit concerned if it’s happening extremely often

especially in public

luckily, he is always there to squeeze your hand and give you a quick kiss on the cheek to bring you back down to earth

but literally is oblivious to his feelings for you at first??

has no clue why he gets so nervous around you and thinks he's getting sick or something

probably asks jouno about it LMAO

and jouno's just like "...you have feelings for y/n, you idiot"

tecchou goes “😦‼️” because this is basically a psychological breakthrough for him

now that he actually understands what he's feeling, he starts to hover near you more?? pls he just wants to spend time with you </3

becomes very protective & is always by your side during missions

i feel like by this point he wouldn't even really ask you out, he'd just kind of assume that y'all were already dating?? 🤨

so when he sees you talking to someone else he gets all JEALOUS

and ur just like "why would u care?? it's not like we're dating"

and that's when he realizes he'll actually have to ask you out

tries to ask jouno for advice again but he’s not much help

so tecchou decides to just go for it

it’s when you guys are walking back to HQ after a mission that he asks

literally grabs your arm and is looking down at you like “…😐”

you’re a bit confused & intimidated tbh

but then he says: “y/n, go out with me.” literally a statement and not even a question-

UR LIKE “...HUH?!”

blinks at you and repeats what he said, confused that you didn’t automatically accept

you realize what he’s trying to ask and start laughing because omg he’s so precious

this also explains a lot of his previous weird behavior, and you’re mentally kicking yourself for not noticing sooner

now tecchou is REALLY worried, until you accept & say that you’d absolutely love to go out with him <33

oh my goodness he is so so pretty<3

Jouno

ok i kind of struggled with this because honestly, i think you’d be the one to have to ask him out

but, for the sake of this post, let’s say it’s the other way around

at first, jouno would really bury his feelings for you

absolutely hates that he has this vulnerability so, towards the beginning he’ll probably be quite mean to you in hopes that it goes away

but uhh. it didn’t lol

in fact, his feelings grow to the point where it’d be unbearable to hide them for much longer

you’ll notice that it’s around this time that he actually starts being nicer to you for once

asks you more personal questions and makes small talk so he can get to know you on a deeper level, rather than just being co-workers

this all throws you for a loop because, wasn’t this the same man that was calling you annoying less than two weeks ago?? 🤨

so, amidst all your confusion, you feel yourself growing more attached to him as well

obviously, he becomes fully aware that you like him just from listening to your pulse when you’re near

this is SUCH a relief to jouno because now he doesn’t have the uncertainty of wondering whether you like him back or not

it’s at this time that he’ll start preparing to ask you out

poor bby gets so nervous?? and that really throws him off because he’s not used to feeling this way at all

i think jouno would be really subtle about asking you out, gradually building up to it instead

^he’d start by asking if you’d like to simply spend time together outside of work, like going out to eat or meeting up at a coffee shop in the mornings

so kind of like dates…minus the actual dating part?? he’s so smooth about it too wtf

it’s on one of these “dates” where he would eventually ask you out

^you were walking with jouno to your car, about to leave when he stops you by grabbing your hand

brings his other hand up to gently hold your face hhhhhhh

says something along the lines of “since we’ve already been spending so much time together, i was wondering if you’d like to...become a couple?”

it’s an unusually soft moment for him so TAKE NOTES

your heart is about to beat out of your chest from surprise and he can definitely hear it

just...please PLEASE say yes. otherwise he might kill you just to spare himself from the embarrassment of being denied
