every time I talk about how dnd is kind of a shit system with people I get someone saying "oh but my group has fun with it" Yeah. Because roleplay is fun. It's still a bad system for so many reasons. people also so often take my critique of dnd as me hating the people who play it and that I want to send them to the gulag or whatever. the most that succeeds in doing is making me want to put them in the gulag
