Sunny

Sunny got up early that morning to get dressed before he had to wake up his daughter, the bright rich-born, young lady who was abandoned alongside her twin brother by their mother, a woman who Sunny had previously worked for.

Sunny put on his undershirt, vest, jacket, slacks, nice shoes, gloves, and bowtie. This was his work outfit.

Sunny. Was a butler.

He woke up his daughter and son, the two children he had adopted after their mother left her suite and her children, abandoned.

He gently shook awake his little girl and little boy. "Hello my little princess, hello my little astronaut."

Cass

Cassidy rolled over and whined. "I don't wanna get uuuppp." The young 4 year old pulled her blanket over her head. She knew her dad was also her Butler, being assigned to she and her twin. But he was also their father.

Shane raised his head a small bit and groaned, rubbing his eyes. "Can we have pancakes?" Shane asked, sitting up.

Sunny

Sunny smiled warmly at the two. "You can have pancakes if you get ready right now. That way you can relax and eat them before we have to leave for school." The twins went to public school as the staff, who paid for practically everything for those twins, couldn't afford to send them to a private school befitting to their high social birth status.

Cass

Cass'head popped up from her pillow. "I don't wanna go to school!!!" She complained. It was their first day of school. First time away from home. Away from the magnificent food, cozy beds, big TV, and most of all... away from their Dad.

Away from stories and snack times and cuddle sessions and play time. No piggy back rides or tickle fights. No playing pretend or movie night with popcorn and ice cream. No silly face wars or staring contests.

No. More. Dad.

Cass could not bare the thought. She simply pulled up the blanket.

Shane was already getting up and preparing for school.

Sunny

Sunny looked down at his stubborn little girl. "Oh, come now, I know you'll have lots of fun. Remember all those fun times I took you two to the park and you played with new friends? School has a lot more kids your age for you to meet and play with. I know you'll love it." He was smiling that kind of smile parents have when they're rolling their eyes in that knowing way.

Then he smirked. "Besides.. if you don't get up.." He then changed his voice to sound like a knock off cookie monster and a knock off Yoda had a child. "The tickle monster will get you!!" Then he threw off the blanket and started tickling her sides.

Cass

Cass giggled and burst into fits of laughter. She then practically threw herself off the bed and ran for the kitchen. Her giggles echoing the home.

Shane clung to the butler's leg, sitting on his foot. Still chatting about the pancakes. "Cass will want chocolate chip pancakes with whipped topping and sausage and berries on the side. And syrup! I want the same thing except no chocolate chips." Shane said. He loved his dad, but he was also hungry

Sunny

Sunny chuckled and shook his head at the twins. What was he gonna do with those two.

He loved them so much.. He was going to miss them while they were at school. It would be the longest he and them have ever been apart. Even while he worked they were somewhere nearby or only babysat for an hour or four at a time.

"Yes, yes, I'm aware, but you must get dressed. We can't have you going to school in your pajamas, my dear." He gently shook his leg as he spoke, as if it would actually shake him off (even though Sunny knew he was being too gentle to hurt him, meaning it would never shake him off.)

Cass

Shane got off the leg and began looking through his clothes. All of them were super fancy clothes. The staff, including Sunny, was rich beyond belief. So of course the 4 year old twins only got the very best of the best. Anything they wanted, they got at top quality. Yet the twins weren't brats about it. On the occasion they were told no, they never fussed over it.

Cassidy still didn't want to go. She wanted to color in her coloring book with Shane and Dad. She didn't want to make new friends, she had the staff of the establishment they lived in. She didn't want to go to school. But how could she tell her father

Sunny

Sunny looked over at Shane and smiled, and then looked over at Cass. Then he shook his head with a soft sigh. "Hunny bunch, what's wrong?" He asked while getting down on her level on one knee. "You have all kinds of fun making new friends at the park? Its the same thing hunny I promise you'll have tons of fun!" he said trying to get her excited. "Besides, we can have our special family breakfast before you go if you hurry." He knew she loved family breakfast. They were together and that was her favorite. She said so.
