The high school detective sighed as he studied the scene before him. Something wasn’t right.

Just as he thought that, the teen spotted a silhouette on top of the building.

The moment the figure started to jump, the detective quickly moved in front of the priest.

“Everything’s going to be alright.” He turned to face the father only to freeze at the sight. SLOOOOORPPP Said father let the body of a nearby policeman drop unceremoniously from his grip. Whereas the priest's eyes were once golden, they now shone a bright crimson. “...Why?” A cruel smile formed on the other’s face. “Why? Shouldn’t you be asking yourself why you fell for this ruse? Though it is a little too late for that.”He quickly shut his eyes, awaiting death.

BAAAANNNG A gunshot sounded.

The teen opened his eyes, seeing blond haired father screech and turn to ashes.

Standing right by the remains was the bespectacled man who he originally thought was the vampire.

The other ran a hand through his dark brown hair with a sigh.

Upon looking at the detective, the strange man gave him a smile.

“I don’t suppose you know of a place to eat nearby, do you?”
