in other Zoo Tycoon news - i am enjoying this every bit as much as I did in 2003 - now that I am an adult and Seasoned Gamer i notice what the guests are actually doing, not that it is all clear to me. like besides the specific instance of them ignoring Bigfoot and going crazy for the eels, it turns out if I had any of the marine animals, the guests all stampeded over there and didn't come NEAR my land animals. Which was of course causing me to lose money in most of my zoo and also just was unpleasant for the emptiness. Guess i could get around this by spreading out the marine exhibits, but that's a real dipshit way to lay out a zoo and i like my heavily themed biome zones marked off by the decorative walls and archways and whatnot

so i guess you dipshit guests just don't get ANY marine animals. or at least not until after the land zones are all built. i always have a problem getting guests out at all to the later-built areas, but this instance was just the rest of the park being ABANDONED so they could crowd the marine area. why are they programmed to do this, did the developers also have bad taste in zoos? I never played much with the marine animals and even less with the dinosaurs growing up because I think that shit's boring and i just want nice normie animals:(
