This list mainly consists of Taylor Swift, a Belgian pop group and A LOT of indiefolk music. It annoys me deeply that I could only list 9 musicians but I don't want to be pretentious and name someone I don't fully stan.

I also listed my favorite albums and songs by each artist :)

1. Taylor Swift

Ofcourse. I already used to be a fan during her Fearless/Speak Now/Red days but fell out when she got into pop music. Then she dropped her indiefolk albums folklore and evermore and I became a diehard Swiftie, even bigger than before. Ironically, I really love her pop albums now too.

2. K3

Belgian girlgroup, with a lot of cheery bubblegum pop songs. Their music is mainly made for children (lol) but there are a lot of adult fans too, like me. Their songs just always put me in the best mood❤️. They sing in Dutch.

3. The National

Basically a band of depressed dads. But they are awesome. Their alternative indie music is so good. They're slowly becoming my alltime favorite band.

4. The East Pointers

Very unknown band, but their music is truly out of this world. Indiefolk. With a lot of banjo. It's just so good. I don't know what else to say. Everytime I listen to their music I feel like I'm being floated off to another dimension.

5. Oshima Brothers

Indiefolk/-pop (surprise, surprise). Very chill, relaxing music. These guys have amazing voices. I really want to listen to them now haha.

6. WILD

Happy folk music. I love listening to them when I'm walking through the woods. Hearing their songs instantly gives me a massive serotonin boost.

7. Birdy

You may know her from her famous cover of Skinny Love. Her voice is enchanting. She's got all kinds of different music. I really hope to see her live one day.

8. Aly & AJ

We all know their song "Potential Breakup Song". That's not the type of music I love the most from them though. Ever since their comeback a couple of years ago they've been focussing on soft indie-dreampop. It's so good. Gives me the chills everytime. I am very excited for their upcoming album.

9. Portland

I very recently discovered this amazing band through the Belgian show "Liefde voor Muziek"(Love of Music). By now I feel awkward repeating myself so I think you can guess what kind of music they make lol. Their voices are so dreamy!
