I just woke up from this horrible dream where this guy was creeping around my house and I never saw him, but my little brother and his dog did and it scared them to tears. When I woke up, it felt like I was still in the dream, like I was going to sit up and see a man at my window or in my room. Ugh! So, how would Sanji, Law, and Kidd react if their s/o had that dream and woke up all tense and nervous? Thank you.

I had to re-write this twice because I’m shit at saving things! Someone come sort me out please. Your girl B-Buns is a terrible admin x_x I’m also hoping to update more often myself because Mods Feather Blaze and Knight are absolutely putting me to shame! They’re so amazing and on point!

Also I hate dreams like this! Where they feel so real! My brother used to do it all the time when we were kids, then run into my room and tell me, and then I’d spend my night like O_O ‘oh no, I’m going to dream this now too’.

VINSMOKESANJI

He’s awake the moment his s/o jolts awake fromtheir sleep and breaks out of his hold.

“Darling, what’s wrong?”

He’s on it straight away. He knows there’s somethingwrong with how rigid and nervous his s/o looks, so he’s not just gonna go backto sleep and ignore it.

After his s/o tells him about their dream heinstantly pulls them into his arms and just locks them into the safest andtightest embrace to show them how safe they are.

He’ll only leave them when he’s sure they’vecalmed down from their nightmare and even then it’s very brief to fetch themhot chocolate. Hot chocolate cures all. 

“I’ll never let some creepy man peep on you.” He’sabsolutely sure of it. No one will ever watch his s/o sleep besides himself.

Even so, he makes sure he shields his s/o’s bodywith his own as much as possible when they go back to bed. And they’re certainlytucked away as far as possible from any door or window.

Rubs soothing patterns into his s/o’s skin untilthey fall asleep before he sleeps himself. He just wants to make sure they’re peacefullyslumbering this time.

 TRAFALGAR D.WATER LAW

Wasn’t actually sleeping with his s/o when ithappened. He was still up sitting at his desk when his s/o all of a suddenjolted awake.

He knew instantly that it was a bad dream, he’shad many of them throughout the years himself so he knows he’s gotta dosomething.  

“Hey, come here.” He makes his s/o come to himand pulls them into his lap. “What happened?”

Listens to his s/o talk about their dreamwithout saying a word.

Thinks about just keeping his s/o company untilthey’re calm and letting them get on with it themselves but then reconsiders itknowing better.

“There’s no one there. And if there was, youknow he’d never get to you.”

Lifts his s/o up into his arms and carries themback to bed, but this time he joins them.

Tangles his body with their own and listens tothem fall asleep on him before he lets himself drift off.

 EUSTASS KID

At first he’s a pissed that his s/o has wokenhim up by being startled away by their nightmare. He doesn’t give a shit whatreason they have right now, he’s vexed.

“Oi, what the fuck are you doing? Fucking goback to sleep!”

When his s/o tells him about their dream theyactually can’t compute how fast Kid is up out of bed and hunting this creepyman down.

He actually forgets they’re on the ship out atsea and it’s practically impossible for there to be a man at the window. He’sout to find this arsehole and to kill him dead.

“Whoa, Kid, it was a nightmare. There’s not areal man there.” “Then why didn’t you fucking say so!” “I did! You clearly weren’tpaying attention!”

Grumbles the entire way back to bed but hisheart is still pounding.

Locks his s/o tightly against his body, eyes onthe window, just to be safe and demands they go back to sleep.

“No one’s gonna touch you so long as I’m around,don’t you fucking forget that.” “I know.” “And don’t fucking do this to me again or I’ll kill you.”
