As mentioned earlier, I just got up to date on CMs, and my hometown is not mentioned on ANYTHING. Despite being the capital. And it gets a few mentions in the EP Mr Scratch, one of Scratch's victims lives there. And the only other time I've seen it mentioned, I had to have subtitles to catch it, that is how badly the actress mispronounced it.

This all got me thinking, I'm pretty freaking sure that at one point we had an FBI Office downtown, and if that wound up being the only office in the state then all the Agent's grumbling how they "don't want to go back to Kansas" or "They sent me to Kansas. Me. Kansas." was actually them bitching about Topeka, and I really don't blame them.

After looking into it, I discovered that as it stands according to the FBI's website, they are not being sent to Kansas they are being sent to the Missouri side of Kansas City. To quote Rick O'Connell "Looks to me like you're on the wrong side of the river!"

Why the URL: I was fade2green when I started here, and then I had a local friendship implode on me and she followed me so I changed EVERYTHING. At the time of the change I was a Loki fan and motherofmonsters was already in use, so I improvised.

Dream Job: For the longest time it was Forensic Science, but that ship has sailed, right now after two jobs that just made me want to break down in a ball for various reasons I will fucking settle on anything that has no contact with the outside world.
