Its for the internet so it makes sense when people point out how the US plays a role in major coups, elections, etc all over the world but there's so often a lack of nuance to how usually an army, local militia and the bourgeoisie can play as much of an important role

#if we're only talking about south america in brasil you can point how the army got help in a bunch of different ways from the us and it #still doesnt change the fact that middle and upper classes played a role #if you think about allende the black market and the sabotage his government suffered? same thing #like imperialism is already doing too much and destroying too much #it always plays an important role since the us does not give a single shit about a states sovereignty but it also never works alone
