bobby asks tommy to check in on bobby in his day off, since with the firefam and athena all working, and eddie dealing with Chris gone, and henren and madney dealing with the whole mara situation, bobby's alone most of the time at whatever temporary lodgings they're in.

so tommy goes over and boolbby's being really suspicious when he answers the door, not letting tommy see fully in, and when tommy finally bullies his way inside, he sees the big evidence board of the connection between gerrard and ortiz that bobby's been investigating.

and that's how we get bobby and tommy coming in clutch with just the right evidence to help the firefam put the final nail in gerrard's coffin and get mara back
