raynemi. sanemi x ray. a sinner and his "god".

ray gave up on the gods he was raised to believe and started supporting sanemi on his ascension to godhood instead.

ray has done so many morally gray things without remorse. he doesn't feel human himself, more like a machine who is forced to do things.

sanemi strives for perfection, but the ego and arrogance interfere so much. he refuses to dirty his hands, because a god must be "perfect".

they are both so flawed, so human.

there's an underlying theme of "love" in the story. cannibalism is used in literature to represent an all-consuming affection, but ray didn't start cannibalizing by choice. he ate people because he needed to survive, that's how he's lived so long. he needs to love to survive.

but what would a god taste like? can we even eat a god?
