hi! hi! yr cosplay is delightful, specifically the makeup you did for tubbo :D can i ask what brands you use, if any?

aaa thank u sm!! oh boy imma have to go rooting through my makeup drawer for this. that makes me sound so much fancier than i am all my makeup is basically 'whats the cheapest i can find yeah thatll do'. imma put the info under a readmore bc its prolly gonna b a fairly longish list

foundation: maybelline fit me. idk my mum got it for me years ago bc i kept using hers lol

contour: essence contouring duo palette. it was the cheapest i could find. the highlighter is Not Light Enough for me lol

lipstick: that is an eyebrow pencil!! specifically ushas cosmetic pencil. i fucking despise the feel of lipstick and have never found a matte black lipstick that actually looks good for me so i use a cosmeticc pencil instead <3

eyeliner even tho u cant see it: miscellaneous black liquid eyeliner. idk its so old the entire text has rubbed off i cannot tell anymore. i need a new one

eyeshadow: so fun fact the scar is 90% eyeshadow! i have SEVERAL revolution palettes (neutrals, colourful, colourful sparkly, and a massive fuckoff one thats as big as the other three put together) and i adore them. the one type of makeup i actually care about the brand. its relatively cheap too which helps. i just layered several reds and browns and reddish browns for the scar

heres a better picture of the scar (sans extra effects talked about below)

i also used liquid latex for the scar, thats uhhh fx bys??? not entirely sure the label isnt helpful. just put a bit of latex on ur face, then a bit of tissue, wait for it to dry, then repeat. once its all dried u can pick at it and make cool effects depending on what u want! do this before adding colour/eyeshadow btw

i set everything with both setting powder (white/clear maybelline lasting fix) (i use powder not spray bc when i use body paint (which is frequent. usually snazaroo or body fx brand) its water based and water based setting spray can make it run) and hairspray. yes thats right i hairspray my makeup on if im going to be in it all day. makes it extra sure that it doesnt budge and nothing rubs off on anything it shouldnt

if u cant tell im not a regular makeup artist or anything, i know my way around special effects but i am mostly self taught and Do Not Have Lots Of Money. dont come at me for spraying my face with hairspray IT WORKS OKAY
